I would be interested in a group of holders combining our holdings (happy to add further to cement) and try for a non exec position on the board. I would also be interested in a consortium bid to take the company private, if you are a secret reader of this page JW, you should think about it. Taking it private or the mere thought of it, would surely stop whoever is selling large blocks, daily.
The market cap is peanuts. This would not be difficult to raise given the strong flow of positive news.
Avyererdowt ref 13.51 post I agree with you I suspect that if either of the two important tenders goes HARL's way and we should know by the end of the year then buyers will flood in. Also we have the National Shipbuilding Strategy due within the next two weeks so HARL should carry on as is.
" would surely stop whoever is selling large blocks, daily. "
surely the answer is to BUY all these SELLS and keep them in STICKY hands ...then they will no longer be available to trade
There are only 122 million shares - so....getting the voting rights and holding the shares should be everyone's target aim
I wouldn't be surprised to see a new 3% Institutional Investor in the not too distant future
".getting the voting rights and holding the shares should be everyone's target aim "
That has been hard to maintain, in the past. TBH As every time you added more to keep a decent average they would go and issue a load more and dilute you even further. Maybe now things seem to be getting "somewhere" on all fronts they may stop doing so.

true... agree stability needed ....I suspect that next year 2022-23 once they get some regular and more decent cash flows ...they can then go to a bank and sit at the table and discuss a loan... if required ( which is what JW basically said)
Without the cash flows ..loans from traditional banks have of course been non-starter so far .
Attention misplaced.
Ml to be granted within the next 21 days - as a solution to the current gas crisis
Uk defence contract due - Harland and navantia given 5mil to develop tender demonstrations - 22bn budget that we will be a beneficiary of
All docks finally open and reactived
All of the above and we’re in the strongest position undoubtedly in the last 24 months
Multiple ships have enter our docks in the past 3 months - 26.5 1.5 million contracts + todays
https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2021/oct/19/uk-government-reveals-net-zero-plan-create-jobs
Harland has loads of space for wind farm - fabrication - part of newly formed UK team resolute
Breaking 52wk highs after ml announced - currently valued the same as the last 3 contracts alone
I would suggest taking a chill pill, allow the company to develop and institutions to take up significant holdings then accept the role of small yet hopefully very successful private investor?
Bowleven had an interesting little drama involving activist investors, the removal of the board and distribution of cash: this is a totally different scenario...a potentially very positive one indeed.
WiseInvestor23 ref 16.01 post I know you do not say it specifically would be but I doubt that the FSS Contract would be the first MOD contract. The reason for this is that the next three stages of the procurement process for the FSS Contract are:
8. Release of Draft Manufacture Contract: October 2021
9. Manufacture Bid Submission (in respect of CPP Stage 1) Deadline: November 2021
10. Manufacture Bid Submission (in respect of CPP Stage 2) Deadline: July 2022
With the final step being
11. Manufacture Contract Award: within two (2) calendar years from date of CN issue - This will take us to 2023.
I would expect the first MOD contract to be the £30m contract to do the drydockings for the Queen Elizabeth Class carriers.
One hell of a close! Added 3 times today. Love adding higher.
Agreed stokey - I believe the uk defence contract due in a few weeks quoted in the interview 4 weeks ago will be the first and smaller - 30 mil is ruffly the current mcap
And the 1.5bn we’re currently tendering for with 3 others will be announced later if given to us
I love that we have multiple ways to see 100s of million of revenues per annum
Once the ml announcement is concluded - how long so we think it will be until we’re in funding discussions? Of which will be 5x++ the current Mcap
And now all docks are open and activated with 500mil per annum at 80% capacity - we can now start to meet our backlog
COP26 a few weeks away - with intentions of more wind turbines - and the PM announcement today - navantia and team resolute - surely more to come on the wind turbine side of things
It will be an exciting time between now and year end - and the years that follow
Of which the funding amount*
Lottie123 ref 16.37 post We are now back to the price at close of trading on Thursday. Hopefully we will keep on going up until after the Spending Review announcement next week.
I think the real significance of this morning's RNS has started to sink in
Pokerchips, certainly a nice run into close
Arnish fully operational, great news
Actually I think we finished better than all of the previous sessions, including Friday. Though there were higher intra day prices.

Si_Derman ref 17.10 post you are right over the last seven days the share price has gone up from 17.75 to 25.50 so about 7.75 on the week. The problem was that as I was typing the post the share price went up.
Another fantastic close! New high since June, post placing. Moving average (20 over 100) will get close to crossing tomorrow if we maintain impetus. Once that happens, 30p beckons. The following week, we will be hoping the 50 day crosses above the 100 day confirming a more fundamental shift. Stay strong, stay invested or even keep adding.
