Wow this telegram group seems to confirm that there are gangs involved lol , shorting while ramping , conning , lying , staying quiet fir days then suddenly commenting in here , i bet i could name a few members lol gla genuine investors not the shorting tyrants
You could always try negotiating.
We've just experienced another "rinse and repeat" from Actusray et-al and I fear this will continue until GGP put forward a definitive RNS in relation to the LCA. The longer this prevails, the more susceptible to a buy-out we become. And, I believe it will not be favourable to the private investor.
Major investors - different story. History tells us that.
If you are truely invested here and you want to protect your investment, might I suggest emailing GGP concerning the LCA.
They have been ducking and diving this issue for far too long, far too long!
James, also sorry to see you leave..it’s not the same group as was probably intended and has been in the past..forget open discussion and opposing views and debate..What a shame.
Many big holders now just stay silent and seems it’s just the admins talking to themselves. Anyone with concerns now simply told to shut up or sell up.
I mean what good is a group of you cant discuss..our chips are already in the table we don’t need to only how great the company is but also be able to assess each step of the journey how to manage our investment and that happens with open discussion.
It’s starting to feel more like a GGP sponsored PR company.
To be honest Dip was the only admin open to discussing, allowing and promoting all views and opinions..sadly he didn’t toe the party line and has been ousted from the admin group.
I have just received a telegram but can't decipher morse code. Anyone?:
. _ _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ /_ .._ / _ ... / _ . _ _ /
.. _ . /. _ . /.. / _ .. /. _ / _ . _ _ ENDS
Btw feels good to be back here tbh, the discussions seem to be allowed to flow and we can atleast filter out the crap!
Hey Freddie, what’s up, are you feeling left out. Do you wanna be in my gang ? 🫣🤔🤫
Chuff chuff any of that code , bamps , liam , hydro , jubert , paddy lol
Spade are you the leader of the gang , just like gary lol
It’s a shame Spratt, I loved that group and the information it provided and no doubt will continue to provide. There is some great people in there but also some who manage to sit above the rules that are set out.
It’s fine here to be honest, you can filter out the idiots which is a win over Telegram. A wealth of knowledge on LSE and any new pieces of information always filters through here from Telegram anyway.
Indeed, the irony is there’s a small group who collectively hold over 30m shares, it has been this group that have tried to open up debate to safeguard their investment that have been told they spreading FUD or are shorters..unreal and they have been attacked by the admin team in to silence..
No doubt some gem will be on here to defend their actions..and that will be quite telling…but from my conversations with some of the big holders I hear they are easy to call it a day. As you say ruined by a few empowered to beat others down.
The irony of it. As somebody said. ‘In the end. Truth prevails.’
Nobody wants to be part of a group that cannot voice an opinion.
Have thought about it in the past but glad I did not pursue it.
Not a lot left for the usual suspects to sow doubt atm so I see they’re trying to sow doubt on the informative posters. How pathetic. To pass the time maybe they should send 19 emails as well 😂😂😂
Only thing that keeps your name in business Trip. You know, the ‘calling people out ‘ squaddies.
You have a way with words Trip. Never mind.
Ninetopprizesof, there has indeed been an update on the LCA. Taken from the Havieron Update RNS on April 30th:
“ Water management.....
That statement in the RNS is such a crap piece of fluff... no timings dates or plan - it tells practically nothing as it is intended to to do. We have been at this LCA for what - 5 months? not a jot of real information. I have said before and say again - it is a convienient stop point until it is decided who is paying for the other 70% of the decline. And this wont be decided any time soon as Newmont is not paying another cent for a project they dont want
Well Nine or whatever that post just shows you don’t have the knowledge to debate about aquifers. It’s no wonder you’ve had no replies how naive!
Oj - you seem to be implying Newmont is not paying another cent - not sure that's right. I think they keep paying to maintain things ready for next phase of development?
Well Freddie I’m glad you said that and not moi, because if it’d been myself, some shady characters here, would of tried to twist the context of how it was asked.
Chuffchuff reference - morse code.
I think it says: Stop / taking/ a / dogs / name / as / Avatar /.
MAtty 56 - im sure Newmont are paying to maintain what they own and have developed - that makes sense if they are trying to sell the 70% - but nobody really knows if they will pay to continue to develop whilst they wait for a sale, IMHO they wont pay for any further development. The LCA seems a convenient excuse to halt development until the sale complete. The lack of news and the time its taking to clear this LCA seems far too long - if it was engineering issues Im sure we would have had an RNS explaining why its taking so long
OJ - it all depends on the liabilities NCM (now NEM) signed up to as part of the JV with GGP. Normally it is on a “BAU” basis so can we drop this distraction now - you’re guessing that they are do nothing or the minimum and I am guessing they are too professional to just down tools especially if they have a BAU to work to. Thanks.
I think that's the most likely scenario here too oj17. For that reason I still hope for a deal by the end of next month. If things did drag on for another 6 months then it would be damaging to confidence and it would almost certainly require a different statement from SD. He has already inferred that GGP's thinking on progressing the decline might be different from their current partners although as of now he has to use politically sensitive language. The only positive I can seen from the current wait is that it provides Nemont with time to sort the tailings dams and future proof them to the supposed higher standard that they adhere to (as well as obviously for GGP to better scrutinise the liabilities and even write-in any protections should things later emerge that would have been 'knowns' at the present time by those on the ground). I hope that Newmont appreciate that a deal is best done sooner rather than later. If the months tick on we are in a situation whereby GGP might quite reasonably take issue of what (for want of better words) amounts to 'restriction of trade'.
