With no news this will head back down below £1 again, there is nothing to support it at this current level as the last few months has demonstrated. They have had the CE approval since May and have sold nothing. India doesn't seem to want to buy any british tests, GDR or otherwise, the FDA seem to focus on american owned companies, no surprise there. There are new tests being developed which will supersede GDR current test. So currently where are all these sales going to come from, UK Government not interested, Europe are not interested, that is fact as there has been more than enough time for order to come in and be reported to the market. So that leaves Africa market which is a difficult market.
Suggest you sell up then!!!
Tea biscuit you clown labs already being set up in the states, look at previous rns!
There is some absolute drivel on these boards the last few days
Price drops and the usual suspect return like flies around a turd.
TB,
Fail to mention the Beckman outlet, which alone, could dwarf any other engagement.
Although i understand why you have a poor outlook, trust me i've sat through it since may and seen GDR disappoint countless times, Beckman has the potential to be huge and internal validation bypasses FDA meaning no regulatory hiccups to worry about.
Jesus... there all out this morning.....must be the help in the community day.
Il see you all Friday when it's big blue again...your all very quiet then for some strange reason...
Don't forget these intraday RNS's due anytime ;-0. £2 + on next news

Well, it certainly isnt spelling day.

bigbench, the intraday RNS do not hold up to fact. There are very few intraday RNS from GDR with significant news. I get you are heavily invested in GDR but the reality is they have had a viable test for months now and no sales have come from it. That is the reality. Also to be fair Bigbench, when the share price was down in the 60's where were you then, you were no where to be seen until the shareprice started to approach the placing price. The reality is that GDR are not performing given they have a test available which is suppose to be a gold standard test and they can't see any while the world is in the grip of this worldwide pandemic... things just don't add up...
Teabiscuit,
I dont know whether you're still invested or whether you have read the last RNS.
Lab with BC,
Lab to process Saliva - without looking at google please tell me how many UK labs you know that sample saliva, I'm confident that even after looking at google you wont be able to give me an answer,
A lab has already been identified, this is a live production environment pre prod,
BC have upgrade contracts with US DOH, that's the equivalent of the UK Department of Health, they've already upgraded labs,
BC have the skills, the tools, the people.
I know exactly where you are coming from BUT, given the fact that we have waited for so long. How absurd would it be for any of us LTH to sell out now. I for one will not lose sleep if we get 10k tests a week. For me its not about the numbers. Its the validation. I agree that the test in its current guise is on par with any other test out there, and its priced the same or similar too. This makes it difficult to sell. That will explain why no major orders (yes we have sold some tests).
Can a JC between GDR and BC yield a saliva sample test, which is quick to process and automated? if the answer is yes, then its not going to be only us doing the hard work. BC will be pivotal. It massively derisks the investment. And going back to my earlier question, how many labs do you know who do mass saliva testing on PCR which is automated. If the answer is none or not many, this puts GDR / BC to the top of that list. And its not GDR doing the selling, its BC doing the selling and bundling our test with their kit. We may not dominate the world, but its significantly better than where we were 2 months ago @65p.
Then we have the AIHL due any week now, they did say Autumn
We have the HCV test
Lastly the POC Covid Test which is due towards the latter part of this year. You should know that I dont ramp this share. However I do believe that failure to capitalise on POC would be borderline criminal especially after the earlier PCR test disappointment . So i expect some traction on this test sooner than what the company stated in their timeline.
Dodge, trying to prove a rise is imminent using Hunter from twitter is actually deramping mate. I dont know how long you've been on this bb, but the guy doesnt know ****.
Could not help myself, just had to join you BB - Think I have my first and only addiction ? LOL

Philjpo, yes I have changed view, that post was from May, everything was looking good. CE approval done, indication from CEO of first sales in June, yet here we are towards end of september still hoping to see some sales at some point and now relying on yet another company to hopefully get things moving along. The fact people are starting to hope the POC test will get things moving shows how little GDR have moved on since May. Lots of promise but no delivery in sales says everything and it is fact. I had high hopes for GDR in May, now I just hold profit for a free run but my expectations for GDR have been reduced. I hope they prove me wrong but evidence is suggesting they are not one of the major players or at this point even a minor player.
