I noted a couple of buys the past 2 days & thought something might be stirring given the move up & volume in Tower.
I bought 1.5M today at 6.09p to average down what I had left from before during the last run up.
Lets see if it springs into life again.
LOTM
Absent significant news I think a placing at 0.05 would be tough. More like 0.04/0.03 unfortunately. Plus 500k would be a large amount given the MC, placees will want to see a likelihood of making money
Needs something as it presently has no secured cash or assets. And the best thing we can put forward is a CPR on a permit they had to give back several years ago. Not good.
I predict a placing in Aug of 1 billion shares at 0.05p to raise £500,000 (based on previous placing timing and amount raised).
$597k as of end 2023. This must be existing on fumes by now.
Raise must be on the cards.

Nice to see the competent persons report on PEL29 again - but ADAIK GBP does not own that licence anymore.
To be honest that was the one rns that did catch my eye.
Let's hope for an update soon then.
Note also the RNS update from 27th March 2023
Thanks emptyend.
It won’t take much to move this up again , this afternoon has shown

Nobody knew about this🤔
Highlights Operational
• The focus during the reporting period, and subsequently, has been the Company’s farm-out process and entering the next exploration period in respect of its Namibian licence PEL0094 (“Licence”);
• On 14 August 2023 the Company announced that the Namibian authorities had given approval for the Company and its partners to proceed to the First Renewal Period of the Licence, with a duration of two years from September 2023 to September 2025. Importantly, the usual requirement at the end of the Initial Exploration Period to relinquish 50 per cent of the Licence area was waived; • Global has continued its efforts to farm-out an interest in the Licence. Further announcements will be made as and when appropriate;
• On 15 September 2023, the Company announced that it had been informed that appeals against the environmental decrees granted in its favour for Licence Applications D 80 F.R- GP, D 81 F.R-GP, D 82 F.RGP and D 83 F.R-GP (“the Applications”) by the Italian authorities had been dismissed. The Company submitted additional documentation in connection with the Applications to the Italian Ministry of Ecological Transition and has been awaiting a response from the Ministry regarding the process going forward. Further announcements will be made as and when appropriate.
Hope for a good week. News soon.
7veronic - you are spot on as always. Please send me the shares you wish me to deramp to benefit you and I will send you my account details.
Thanks janiax,
I hope so but am assuming nothing major will change for quite some time. I can’t seem a short term or medium term changes yet.

Just seen 11m shares bought, 11:46
Time for a bounce!! I’m in
This from the Half Year Report -
'The primary aim of the Board remains to find suitable opportunities in the sector, using the team's extensive network. The Company has continued to make good progress in identifying potential opportunities with a view to diversifying the business away from being dependent on a single asset'
What other assets are they pursuing and when will we know? - Buying has increased this morning will this shake those that short shares?
Decent little spike that, at c.2m mc there will be a few more to take advantage of.
Need some concrete news to solidify any spike up though.

Of course it does we all know it
Prospectivity
Welwitschia-1A well drilled in western part of PEL0094 in 2014, targeted Upper Cretaceous sandstones, which were absent at this location, but the well proved excellent seals
Global believes that there is significant prospectivity – similar to that in PEL0029 – in deeper Albian carbonates (“Welwitschia Deep”), which Welwitschia-1A did not reach
Additional prospectivity in Upper Cretaceous reservoirs on the flanks of the Welwitschia structure e.g. the Marula prospect
Welwitschia Deep prospect
Albian carbonates in a fault and dip-closed trap
Mapped on 3D seismic data
Best estimate (P50) unrisked prospective resource 671 MMbbls gross in PEL0094, 523 MMbbls net to Global with a geological chance of success of 14%
Marula prospect
Upper Cretaceous sandstones mapped on 3D seismic data in a distal pinchout trap with a strong amplitude anomaly conforming to structure down-dip
Best estimate (P50) unrisked prospective resource 210 MMbbls gross in PEL0094, 164 MMbbls net to Global, with a chance of success of 22%
When no news comes from Company, then more than likely Sp tanks,
one because mms don't want to hold to worthless shares
whoever sold out today actually done damage limitations.
this is why company rns is vital

Good luck holders
Chevron has fired the first shot in what is set to be an upcoming battle between supermajors to secure access to promising oil and gas acreage in Namibia's next big offshore exploration play — the Walvis basin.

You can't talk dr. You are getting more and more unpleasant.
Good grief Earl, HELD has since the IPO promised so much and produced nothing we were supposed to get a crop news last year, still nothing
Another one of GordonBennetts pump and dumps... I feel sorry for the fella he dragged in to buy again last thing yesterday afternoon... Works for his 10% and is a low level ambulance chasing investor.. Makes a few hundred quid and costs others who he drags in thousands. Sooner LSE ban these charlatans the better... MMs playing the game, lift off soon, shares drying up, going to pop as theres none left down here, hold on its about to move...
Hes doing the same over on STX, enjoy .5s tomorrow...
Lol Earl is back to ramp another share again.
Often shows the share he is posting on will rise again :)
Not quite the day I was expecting, but looking good for another jump up before close today.
Good luck holders
Earlofaim that’s if held can ever show that they’ve grown a plant !!! It’s been a shxt show ever since it’s IPO !! 30p and now 2.5p !! And still no signs of any cannabis !!

Enthusiasm for oil exploration off Namibia’s coast stems from the idea that the southern African country once slotted together like a jigsaw piece with Brazil. Therefore, goes the theory, Namibia’s offshore basins are likely to be similar to two Brazilian basins – Santos and Campos – which have proved enormously rich in resources.
Licensees are equally motivated to sell parts of their licences. The licence holders are typically small companies with limited finance capabilities and/or technical capacity. Most are in the early stages of exploration and need cash to carry out seismic surveys.
Sounds familiar 😁

Scroll down, GBP trades on the exchange , before all the 3rd party sites label or colour code them, with a GUESS
https://www.londonstockexchange.com/stock/GBP/global-petroleum-limited/company-page
Likewise makes stats on these sites as much use as a chocolate tea pot, never anything to do with the market/mm's just poor old Dimbo , having a bad guessing day at the office.
Stuck with it, the Market long ago offered the modern, simple, tech fix for real data at source, declined, as said they see all TRADES as both a buy and sell, so chose TRADITION over tech.
eg you the buyer via dma/broker from seller broker/floor mm etc.
Best guide little movement/flat trading pretty even, big rise buyers on top, forcing the bid up to fill orders, large fall the sellers need to fcuk off 😉😂
Distorted stats, the main reason many an unresearched poster on various boards daily, cry we have six times the buys to sells and not/barely moved, as in reality , trading is pretty even, Dimbo Algo having a really bad guesswork day. 🙄🤦♂️
Probably , every label you see is a BEST GUESS not a fact, worlds markets print TRADES only , they see as both a buy and sell , so label NOTHING.
3rd party sites like this one and others use the same Dimbo Algo , trying to be helpful and failing miserably on most shares daily, all based on what dimbo sees as current range and mid price (does not always keep up with quick movements) all after the volume you see here , is a rehash with a BEST GUESS tagged on to the real exchange print.
All above mid BUY (Never the case) all below SELL (Ditto) the rest Dimbo Algo chokes on, exactly on its mid , delayed trades (not mm hocus pocus or black trades) or anything it now sees outside of ITS range = UNKNOWN
That popular button we all press daily🙄
The Chevron news is great, but the disappointment for me is that GBP have done nothing PR wise to capitalise on it, not even a tweet. I’m sadly starting to think Ceclilia may be out of her depth as de facto CEO.
Gil Holzman, CEO of Eco Atlantic said ...... ‘this is a farm-out basin opener and as we knew and expected everyone will now rush to the Walvis Basin, after Chevron showed has signed up for this block........... (Malcy)
A 20-30% drop after a 100% day when there's no direct company news is not unusual.
This share is still very low Mcap and with the activity in the region there could be a substantial rise as interest increases.
I still think this will go back up from here. Just depends when the MMs have had their fill,
I should stop lurking and get some work done now.. bloody meetings all day.
Good luck holders
Ah the two for one comedy club, don’t worry I have been watching your posts laughing over event days. Davey couldn’t catch a cold. Imagine going round to your mates to look for matching trades davey? What a loser!!!
Massive drop as expected! Another one of Gordon’s pump and dumps, I feel sorry for the fella you dragged back in last thing yesterday. I bet he isn’t happy with you Gordon…
GB I bet you were the first one out when it started dropping, a few token posts then you will vanish to today's flyer rinse and repeat
Aware of the delay but volume isn’t massive so I don’t envisage it being massively out.

This is a post from “hereandnow” on the ECO chat board regarding Chevrons announcement. GBP is in a similar position to ECO in the Wallis basin regarding their seismic data in a massive license block next to ECO.
From Galp's results yesterday,
"The exploratory activities identified significant oil columns containing light oil in high-quality reservoir sands and confirmed a lateral
extension of one identified target. The reservoirs log measures confirm good porosities, high pressures and high permeabilities in
large hydrocarbon columns. Fluid samples present very low oil viscosity and contain minimum CO2 and no H2S concentrations. The
flows achieved during the well test have reached the maximum allowed limits of 14 kboepd, potentially positioning Mopane as an
important commercial discovery. In the Mopane complex alone, and before drilling additional exploration and appraisal wells,
hydrocarbon in-place estimates are 10 billion barrels of oil equivalent, or higher"
And now Chevron is the first major to farm into the Walvis Basin. Eco's blocks surround PEL82. ECO's blocks have had tens of millions of dollars spent on them on seismic acquisition working up drilling targets.
So, ECO has farmed out 3B/4B to Total , has a free carry and will harvest plenty of cash along the way. ECO has got over ten companies in the data room re. Orinduik farm out, 3/4 serious contenders will offer deals. Now Namibia is seriously in play.
Multiple huge discoveries in the region. Venus, Graf , Mopane. Many tens of billions of BOE. Chevron has just farmed into the Walvis. ECO has the most acreage there.
By year end , three farm outs in place with majors. Visibility on drilling on all our assets.
ECO hit a market cap of £360m back in 2019 on the Guyana discoveries, no reason they cannot get that kind of valuation again.

Galp another major with a huge find in the orange basin,
https://www.reuters.com/business/energy/portugals-galp-says-field-off-namibia-could-contain-10-bln-barrels-oil-2024-04-21/
Club it with Shell, Total and Cheveron and Namibia has become the most prolific location for oil in decades. GBP are in a fantastic spot being very shallow and easy to drill and low cost! Remember BP and GBP have ties having been in discussions in the past.

Interesting that it closed at 0.15 mid when virtually all the trades in the last hour or so of trading seemed to be centred around 0.14.
Suggests to me that there may be a very big order being worked and that much of the trading late on was mostly about hoovering up stock.
Looking up again, 14 to sell 15 to buy, reckon we will see another stab at .17 tomo with ease
Got back in at .143 - was sweating for a bit and yes risky but paid off :)
Risky move...
I was tempted to sell with the 0.155 quote with a similar idea, but it was just going up so decided to hold,
Hope you manage to get back in before close...
It could open up another 20% in the morning.
Good luck holders

On farmout news a few years ago this was trading around 0.60p !!!
Yep, fingers crossed it keeps on trucking, but i couldn't really turn down that 2 day jump.
Ill keep my eye on it and might get back in, but it was too good to turn down for me today.
Watch me vomit if it does 50% tomorrow!
Good luck all.
Thank you for the lovely profit GBP, I've been waiting quite a few weeks for it to happen, should have bought more back then, will probably do so the next time the opportunity arises.
Didn't want to be greed & I really wanted another 75,000 MIRI in a desperate hurry, which I was able to achieve with the addition of £75 to my GBP profits.
Good Luck Everyone
LOTM
That's fair Alan.
Always good to bank profits.
But the market cap is soo low here it could easily 2-5bag with a blink of an eye.
HE1 did so earlier this year and although has retraced a bit it's still doing ok.
I'm confident this will see 0.2 this week. And if a good bit of news comes it's hard to put a cap but 1p could be reached...
Good luck, out at 15.5ish, too big a two day move to ignore, hard markets.
