The best stocks go unnoticed
One of the biggest rises this week and no one seems interested. Bizarre
Qube do not take directional bets. Their shorts will be against baskets , total return swaps, options, etc.
2 massive tree shakes today. They really do need the shares.
Can't deny I very near got cold feet and nearly bailed when it dropped back to 966p. Then it went into auction back up to £10. Doubt we will see £20 again but £13-£15 is well on the cards
Is there an investment case for buying any stock Qube is shorting?
Nice to see our bullishness on FUTR vindicated, with shares up c.70% in the last 3 weeks! H1 results today come with an in line exps FY outlook. Balance sheet isn't the best, but cashflow is so strong that it doesn't matter. Buybacks also increased. Looks like a proper re-rating to me, rather than a spike up in price. Still decent value I'd say, now it looks as if growth is beginning to return.
While I completely agree with you the same logic doesn’t stop me optimistically buying when the market is on a downward trend.
I will never understand shorters. Why would you short when the market as a general upward trend? Is like choosing to swim against the tide.
PLANS A FURTHER RETURN OF UP TO £45M TO SHAREHOLDERS THROUGH A SHARE BUYBACK PROGRAMME COMMENCING SHORTLY
Plus all the shooters. There are no shares out there. Hold Hold Hold.
After 2 years of misery by the shooters on so many stocks this is very welcome. All I need is BooHoo to turn the corner (one can dream)
Ah, the proverbial 'short squeeze'.... an excellent day to be long .
Ok thanks, either way they are having an exceptionally bad day/ month!

I called 900p next stop 1250p
Hi, how do you work out the 7%? i thought it was around 2.5%. Accept I am probably missing something in the way it works.
Spread was huge this morning it has now closed up.
I am watching my first ever short squeeze. This is the 2nd most shorted stock on the UK indices at over 7% with only 119million shares in circulation. If you are holder , hold on ! However I wouldn't be buying as an investment yet. I luckily got in the lower £7.
Going to be watching this like a hawk. Lets have win for the Retail investors!
I can’t really understand why the shorters would keep going after the trading update in April, nothing was going to change between then and now…
Not looking like the disaster the shooters were hoping for.
Massive tree shake this morning.
They are now going to have to buy back. Not a lot out there to buy back either.
Deutsche Bank has begun coverage of Future (FUTR), saying the media group is due a ‘material rerating’.
Analyst Gareth Davies started the publisher of Marie Claire and The Week on a ‘buy’ recommendation with a £21.20 target price as the shares gained 5%, or 41p, to 871p.
Davies said the group has ‘four high-level verticals’, including games and entertainment, lifestyle and news, wealth and savings, and business-to-business.
He said the valuation ‘stands out’, especially in relation to the ‘potential value’ of GoCompare, which it acquired in 2020.
‘We firmly believe the pressures which the group has faced have been cyclical, not structural, and against a backdrop of improving consumer sentiment in both the US and UK, we see scope for a material rerating over the next 12 months,’ said Davies.
‘The recently announced growth acceleration plan, in combination with newer verticals, more efficient monetisation in the US, and of global social media audience, provide self-help upside that should accelerate recovery growth, particularly in the US.’

According to the short position reporting here on LSE, Connor, Clark & Lunn Investment Management Ltd are still in with a short position of 0.5%.
That would put them currently at a considerable loss.
I'm not sure they would be able to stay in the hunt at that kind of loss. Is the report on here correct?
This will benefit from the turnaround in the UK economy, lower inflation, lower interest rates
£21.20 price target may well prove cheap
I’m looking for loose change behind the sofa, hold the door for me please - I need to be on board this train 🤣🤣🙈
DEUTSCHE BANK RESEARCH STARTS FUTURE PLC WITH 'BUY' - PRICE TARGET 2120 PENCE
Agree. That's where I'm at on this.
