he advantage of a MIMO network over a regular one is that it can multiply the capacity of a wireless connection without requiring more spectrum. Reports point to considerable capacity improvements, and could potentially yield as much as a 50-fold increase in future.
The more antennas the transmitter/receiver is equipped with, the more possible signal paths and the better the performance in terms of data rate and link reliability.
Worth a punt anyhow at this price Prefer to add here than buy SUPERDRY as at least this companies products have potential
There’s no set figure for what constitutes a Massive MIMO set-up, but the description tends to be applied to systems with tens or even hundreds of antennas. For example, Huawei, ZTE, and Facebook have demonstrated Massive MIMO systems with as many as 96 to 128 antennas.
Cisco estimates that by 2020 - when 5G is set to roll out in the UK - there will be 5.5 billion mobile users around the world....
5.5 BILLION phones and devices MINIMUM worldwide !!!!
That's a lot of Antennas right !!!!!
Massive MIMO technology will almost certainly be a core component of the super-fast 5G networks of the future. Indeed, several mobile network operators around the world have already begun rolling it out ahead of 5G’s arrival in 2020.
Well done... Good info.... Good clues !!!!

MIMO and 5G
While standard MIMO principles are already in use across multiple Wi-Fi and 4G standards, Massive MIMO will really come into play once 5G arrives. Indeed, it’s widely expected that Massive MIMO will be a key enabler and foundational component of 5G.
One of the key roles of any 5G network will be to handle the huge increase in data usage that’s around the corner. Cisco estimates that by 2020 - when 5G is set to roll out in the UK - there will be 5.5 billion mobile users around the world, each consuming 20GB of data per month on average. That’s not even factoring in the huge impact the Internet of Things is predicted to have on our mobile networks.
Massive MIMO’s ability to serve multiple users - and multiple devices - simultaneously within a condensed area while maintaining fast data rates and consistent performance makes it the perfect technology to address the needs of the forthcoming 5G era.
May I suggest people go and read through a few past RNS' s !!!!
This company is doing some great stuff and is now at a 50% discounted S.P. !!!!!!
Contract Win
Thu, 30th Aug 2018 07:00..... RNS Number : 2033Z.......
Rob Smith, CEO, said "We are pleased that order flow is now running for this product which is the first offering from our Massive MIMO antenna range. This technology is key to the densification of 4G/LTE networks and is a cornerstone technology for future 5G networks.".
Clue here ????? Could be massive !!!!!!
https://5g.co.uk/guides/what-is-massive-mimo-technology/
Starting to wonder if this company is actually doing rather well when I re-read the latest RNS. 2.1 million in the bank, secure contracts with the government and defence let alone servicing major telecoms units. why did this fall 55% today? surprised....
who ..
And....
Guess who will be supplying the antennas ?????
The 5G OnePlus Phone Arrives In May
By Holly Brockwell on 12 Dec 2018 at 10:00AM
The race to 5G is afoot, and as we've been hearing for a while, it looks like OnePlus will indeed be one of the very first to release a phone compatible with the vastly higher data speeds it offers.
CEO Pete Lau told CNET that the phone will be launched before the end of May 2019. He doesn't think they'll sell many, though:
"The 5G product is not expected to equate to huge sales. It's still early stage. But by 2020 it could already be very different."
That's probably because, as they've already said, it'll cost about £200 more than the OnePlus 6T. The cost will apparently be well worth it, though: OnePlus's Creative Director Xi Zeng told TrustedReviews that "Once people see the benefits of 5G they will never go back to 4G."
Once you go 5G you never go... er... answers in the comments?
However, if you're hoping for a 5G OnePlus 7, it looks like that's not happening. Lau has said the 5G range of phones will be separate from the rest, with the first one being exclusive to EE initially. The Samsung Galaxy Flex is also apparently exclusive to EE, at least at first. Seems like EE are keen to be known as the 5G network -- we can hear the '5GEE' ads already.
we are on the hot chat topics board now ..
see if we can get them to part with some money ..ha ha
Of selling at this level for a 1% gain ?!
would be nice
take out 8.40 // we minght see 9p today
