And not relying on equipment from Italy !
so i helped finance this, met the vendors (who own the asset and a chunk of frg). they've bought this for a tiny fraction of the build costs. it's all in very good condition, it barely got started when glencore pulled out of country having fallen out with the previous political regime. they have plenty of buyers lining up for end product. there is huge demand. they have plenty of ore on the ground to process. finance is in, it's pretty sticky, largely as the upside on this is mighty handsome. quickly into cashflow with first two kilns and all costs/expansions financed from cash flow. looking forward to the broker notes, some of the early '*** packet' maths suggested an irr of over 1000%. even if you divide by two and two again and two again that gives you over a 100% irr which is sensational. operational risk is firing up those kilns, they were inspected during the dd so crossed fingers it all goes to plan. by year end this should be a very different company, making money not chasing dreams with limited cash at disposal.
Since then lithium partner, great results and this excellent cash generating project bought.
Should exceed the IPO price soon

Dibs/bankrupty. Any thoughts on the fundraising ?
Dibs, well the drilling is now completed but really no interest shown in the share price. Guess the next news will be the results.....

Radio silence. When is this company going to update the market. They started drilling back in January and suggested they would be updating as and when? Helloooo
Strange one this, never holds any gains
They have said they will update the market as intercepts come through. Drilling commenced 9 days ago.
“Although the RC programme is expected to conclude in four to six weeks, we will update the market as intercepts are made available over the coming weeks. Samples will be sent to Intertek for assaying and first assay results are expected during Q1 2024.
"This is an exciting phase for our flagship Atex Project and am looking forward to announcing the assay results in due course."
I’ve taken a small position here and will see how it goes.
.....refreshing for a change on AIM.........finally a company doing what it said it would do!
Well Done Firering!

Its a shame NH has left tbh, totally understandable, but still a shame.
We haven't yet had a phase 2 funding commitment from RICCA RNS (as the amounts were to be done in batches at set points, with set rewards). At this stage its to hard to tell if that's because they don't see the value right now (for whatever reason), or if we just haven't got to phase 2 point yet.
The limestone part is interested and was def a curve ball, but I would like to see a few more figures put out there for us so that we can see what rev/profits it might bring in.
With Neil Herbert leaving I think the funding from the Lithium deal with Ricca is unlikely to materialise especially now lithium companies have a lower valuation. At least the company has managed to pivot towards limestone
It's difficult to know exactly because we don't know all the operating costs, but I would imagine that once they're up and running it will be a fairly profitable, cash generative sideline.
I looked into one of the main operating costs of quicklime production in Zambia, which is the 20KWh of electricity required per tonne to produce it.
Zambia has about the cheapest electricity tariffs in the world, for both personal and business customers, at about 4.4c per KWh for businesses, so the energy cost is less than $1 per tonne.
Quicklime itself, when I last looked, sells for $80-$100 per tonne. Like most commodities prices fluctuate somewhat, but I expect the Zambian market for quicklime to be fairly robust and transport costs (paid for by the buyers) will be relatively low making it attractive to local buyers, ie Zambian copper miners/producers primarily.
Does anyone know the estimated net profit per ton of quicklime please?
Interesting development indeed!
Firering are intending to acquire around a 28% interest in a near-term cashflow producing asset which Glencore has spent in excess of $100m developing, right up to the point of commissioning, for about $5m. So, that's about $28m of Glencore's expenditure bought for $5m, and the good bit is that Firering didn't need to work for and wait x number of years for it to get to the production stage.
I also note that the limestone is of exceptionally high grade at 95+% calcium carbonate, which means less waste and cheaper to convert to quicklime.
By my rough calculation the resource is equivalent to a mine life of around 175 years, using a conversion factor of 1.8 tonnes of limestone to 1 tonne quicklime and producing 600 tonnes quicklime per day. (Please feel free to correct me if I've got this wrong.)

Further to my previous post, regarding the potential extent of the Atex/Alliance pegmatites...
At the end of a Firering webinar presentation, just after the acquisition of their controlling stake in Alliance Minerals, there was a Q&A session where someone asked:
Q. Can you highlight the importance of the acquisition of Alliance Minerals in the overall growth strategy and development of the business?
A. Yuval Cohen, Firering’s CEO, said something like: Alliance is a highly-prospective area adjoining Atex. There are pegmatites ‘lying around’ on both sides of the concession and we have identified the continuation of the [Atex] pegmatites into the Alliance area. The combination of the Atex and Alliance areas creates a 500 sq km concession with fertile pegmatites for both lithium and coltan.
So, Firering already appear to know from pegmatites scattered around on the surface (and possibly sampled and tested as part of their due diligence) that the larger Alliance area to the south-west has similar characteristics to Atex which adjoins it. Alliance is of course on trend with the north-east to south-west orientation of the Atex pegmatite zones already mapped, which leads me to believe that the combined extent of the pegmatite field could be absolutely massive. (It's already very extensive based on what we already know from surveys/mapping and RNSs released by the company.)

also nice to see the rough plan, including 2nd stage auger infills and rc/dd drilling if all goes well.
early days still but every step is one closer to an mre and thus that first chance to *** pack value frg.

Today's RNS highlighted the discovery of a number of additional pegmatite zones resulting from the Phase II soil sampling analysis across the Atex licence, with more results still to come.
The lithography mapping contained within the RNS report seems to indicate additional pegmatite mineralisation in various zones/directions around the previously known ones, especially interesting are the results in the direction of the boundary with the adjoining Alliance area, which looks like it continues SSW into that area.
This is interesting because Firering have the option to increase their interest in the Alliance licence to 80%, in additional to their current Atex licence area, extending the project's licence area to some 500km2.
What with the existing excellent drill results around Spodumene Hill previously reported plus further drill targets it's looking like they're sitting on a whole lot of lithium, not to mention the coltan (tantalum and niobium), relative to their lowly £6m market cap.

And don't forget DKL....
The investment opportunity afforded by Firering's current valuation and market cap remind me of when I bought ASOS shares for just 8p, at a time when it was clear (to me, anyway) that they had reached critical mass and profitability, because some fund manager (Schroders I think) was selling down millions of shares at that level. Shortly afterwards they set off on their stratospheric journey to £40+!
I believe a similar massive rerating could occur here with Firering's shares, based on reading between the lines of what the company has already announced, and what they've said (and how they've said it) in presentations, videos, etc.
They recently announced that they had increased their stake in the Atex project/licence to 90%, stating that the decision was 'an easy one'. They also currently hold a 51% controlling stake in the adjacent Alliance licence area, with the option to increase their stake in that licence to 80%. They already know, due to their 'due diligence', that the Atex project's lithium resource extends SSW-ward into the Alliance licence area. (The combined Atex/Alliance licence area extends to some 500km2, which is 'highly prospective' for both lithium and tantalum/coltan.)
What's not to like!?
Not many people have even noticed or heard of Firering yet, but I believe that will change in the not too distant future. When that happens you won't be able to buy the shares at today's prices. All IMO, of course.
That is exactly the reason I am invested here ShareSleuth.....The 20MT is of significant interest to the main shareholders and our Chairman, Deptuy Chair and Director of all three companies....Atlantic Lithium, RICCA, Firering.......who says an incestuous relationship between companies hints of big profit ! What would I know....... lol
Another interesting aspect of the Ricca investment in Firering is that they have agreed to invest an additional $2m, taking the total to $20.6m, if Atex's lithium resource ends up exceeding 20Mt; that's the sort of magnitude they're looking for with their investment.
If anything remotely like that turns out to be the case, Firering's shareholders will be massively rewarded from these levels.
Some interesting posts about Firering out there, suggesting the potential value of their assets.
One thing's for sure, IMO, Firering's extremely cheap on any tangible measure I can think of at the moment.

have taken some on now.. main play is KOD.. some others like SAV
interested to see where it goes
Gla
Seb's up £36,457 today on this frgin share.....and he's only no.3 here! follow Neil!
If you’ve been a kodder or a premmer or a ctler .. you could do with snaffling a little piece of this and sitting on it.
Funded to dfs, ALL connections .. good grades, still WELL below ipo price, cheap!
Ricca Resources' recent investment effectively valued Firering's Atex project (a small proportion of Firering's overall concessions in The Ivory Coast), on its own, at £30m or 34p per Firering share - and the project's fully funded to DFS by Ricca.
Also, Firering have favourable banking facilities already in place for low-cost initial production of high-grade Coltan (at about $150,000 per tonne, according to the company), which in turn will self-fund ongoing value generation. Most importantly, IMO, the company have said that they see little or no need for additional fund-raising/dilution in the near future - by which time the share price should be considerably higher than it is today.

Long time lurker on the boards, just started posting. Im in this and Marula, I don't want to ramp Marula but it looks good, was watching an interview with Jason Brewer the other week, he really seems on the ball and getting the backing of wealthy investors, again apologies for going off-track but sharing news/opinions with fellow investors is no bad thing.
Keep up the good work chaps
Pretty similar I guess SHAREINTHIS.....Here £8m and funded with RICCA money to DFS
and MARU.L £12m with offtake funding for a small stockpile of Spod......
.....both of which need to prove up resources for a mine build!
I'm in both.....and a few more green metals companies besides........but some goldies too.....and dry powder!
How does this compare to Marula Mining who have Spod ready to transport
Yes been getting a few in here now
got into KOD earlier so thats going well

But apart from Neil....who else...I wonder do you know any of these names...lol?????
