Was not expecting that...
Sounds sensible, it’s best practice after all
hi compadre. I'm not advocating divis that would reduce investment/takeover potential. What I would advocate is a token tiny divi for the following reasons.
1. Providing a competent BoD has run the company well then a token divi shows a positive statement about the future.
2 It provides a cheap form of advertising.
3. The number of PI's and II's who invest in dividend paying companies far and away outnumber those that don't.
By paying a divi we immediately go on the radar of a whole lot more of deep pocket long term investors, some of which may well dip a toe in the water.
I hold IDEAGEN a software company that does this and also grows by both acquisitions and organic revenue. The income is insignificant but the share price has trebled in just over three years.
FairFx are presenting at a Shares magazine investor event in Manchester on 25 June. A video of their presentation should be available on Shares website shortly after that.
FFX is steadily rolling out new products (and potential revenue sources) and the development pipeline is healthy with a number of things happening in the background.
Its all about scale and using the platform for adding revenue with minimal costs. We want a network of partners who lack the platform and are willing to take on the counterpart credit risk.
The AGM statement indicated we are on track to meet expectations despite the sterling weakness (always flagged as a major headwind). A P/E of 14 for next year, debt free and strong top and bottom line growth with improving margins all make me pretty comfortable with my position.
Would be nice, but probably be kept to reinvest in the business / for acquisitions / future growth plans?
Excellent news - another string to the FFX bow. Widens the range of product FFX can offer to its customer base and riskless as debt is provided by a third party.

Truro Trading Update should be out early July, will the sp return to highs of 1.30 - 1.50 range?
Encouraging. Forecast for profit this year is £11 Mill and next year £16 Mill. With no real debt do I hear the pitter- patter of tiny divis coming our way?
Hi Truro,
I bought in last year, average is around 1.23 & we were back at this a couple of weeks ago but has now climbed back down
Thanks
Hi jsmith, The share price 2 years ago was around 60p. Not to sure when you bought but a temporary reduction is to be expected. At this price it's a buy.
Thanks Truro
@1.14 i have no idea if this can be a sell or buy, not from today
Delayed trades anyone?
Hi jsmith, maybe they were Sells but then again they may be Buys. My, much smaller, trades have often been misquoted.
The decision as to whether a trade is recorded as a buy or sell is a judgement call! What it is based on, and how the judgement is decided, I have no idea.
Sells @ 1.14???
Sells in the millions???
Re-read the RNS to make sure for yourself, but essentially it means that performance targets agreed in January 2017 when FFX bought Q Money have been hit and therefore additional consideration (also agreed at the time) is now payable. And if further targets are hit in the future then further consideration will be payable. If the targets were hight relative to the additional consideration it is good news. If they were not, it is not.

Anyone know what this means and is it gd news?
Thanks
