New to stocks and shares. Sold Electra this morning, saw the dividend date as Nov 3. Should I be worried about being paid the dividend
As long as you held at close yesterday you'll receive the dividend. Suggest googling ex dividend dates and having a read up. Investopedia as good a place to start as any. Alternatively contact the company / investor relations if still confused...
You will be fine Kenw you were dividend qualified if you held at open. The price is always dropped on X date by the dividend amount it looks worse with a special large dividend 9.14 per share will be winged to you on the 1/12.. Best Luck.
Insane that this is trading beneath reported NAV of 1114p post the ex-doc of the 914p . . . Totally mad - basically market is saying that management team will DESTROY value . . . Nuts. Red
50% drop looks overdone. Bought £5k @ 975. Total punt
These investment shares mostly trade below NAV. A tip ? (SIGB ) Sherborne investors hold near 30% of ELTA so they will pick up a tidy dividend sum and it will most likely be notified as a special dividend once accounted. The price of SIGB has not moved Much since its last special Dividend in June so a buy at its current price will reap rewards IMHO. Best luck all..
What's going on here is this company finished
You must be kidding read the last 100 posts .. Best luck..
I don't get what's going on here sp dropped in half Will it recover
Yesterday each share was worth +18 Today was XDividend so 9.14 will be sent to all holders for each share who still held shares this morning on open. +9 is the shares worth after the Dividend. The NAV is over 11. Very strong past record but a new investment policy from now on. Best luck all..
I'm in for a few tomorrow
You said a while back you were in for a few. Shouldn't have.
