Plenty of volume being generated today...probably one of the 0.175p placement takers from last year offloading a few first thing? Plenty taking the opportunity to buy in/top up sub 0.25.
Sausage, The whole point of looking at BM is that it is an alluvial gold deposit at shallow depth and so much faster than hard rock deposits (which all our other assets are) to get in to production. So that is our quickest route to generating an income.
No- company is able to get from soli sampling to hard rock production in 9 months.
Ffs who’s dumping @ 23.5 that’s not helpful! fee $ being flipped?! I kid I kid!
Yep topped up this morning.
Easy pickings.
Me 2
And me ....never look a gift horse...... ;-)
Yep ….Couldn’t Resist Myself…
I've added a few million today. Someone wanted oujt and decided to smash the RSP. It is what it is. This just presents opportunity
Correction, down 7.84%.
They have been in the job 9 months and what does ECR have to show for it? Sold equipment, shut an office, spoke to a tax expert (paid a tax expert?) and sent samples to the lab. Where's the gold?????? Apparently they have a data room, that they wanted a potential JV partner to read and sign up, why don't they use this extensive data room to find a location to start production.
My opinion is they need to announce what the plan is to take ECR from endless sample testing in to production, including timelines and even if it mean diluting to raise the money to buy the equipment. The market isn't being fooled, in my view, by the endless talk from the Board about what may lie ahead.
9 months in the job and is this the first time they have actually set up any type of production?
In theory local Blue Mountain landowners could assist, but would you not have to pay them? Although for a few months ECR gets a monthly payment from the sale of equipment, the money they have will need to be stretched over all the projects across Qland and Victoria.
More samples from Blue Mountain are being taken, the trailer based trommel and sluice are hardly going to find commercial quantities of gold. I literally don't understand at the moment why ECR just don't identify an area based on the data they already have and set up a wash plant or heap leach and get on with production. The continual need to jump around Australia testing and retesting buckets of rocks, will at some point soon, in my opinion, just not add anything significant. Economies of scale I guess, you have 500 test results, what would the 501st test result tell you that you didn't know, type principle.
I still feel, my own view, that the blue mountain gold results will be compared to the 30 year old report, with ECR saying something along the lines of, we have increased the amount of gold found (since the 1980s report). Let's wait and see but the testing here, there and everywhere approach isn't setting the market alight as we see again. I also notice the mass media scattergun approach to every single announcement seems to have been turned down some what. Maybe ECR are realising that few are getting sucked in saying the same thing to multiple people isn't adding anything.
Down over 5% today so far as we expect more money being spend on more buckets being sent to the lab.
My view, but something gonna have to change within ECR to excite the market, I'm not sure if that is methodology, production or personnel.
I suspect we have scaled down to a one man in the field operation with a few jobbers to give Adam’s head a wobble to remind him he has woken up and put it on upside down!
I suggest you directly those sensible questions to ECR or Doc Holiday, but ECR need a revenue stream if they're to stop further dilution in my opinion
How big is the exploration team? If we're relying on AJ to oversee the work it's little wonder we can only work on one project at a time. Surely they've not downed tools at BM to move to Lolworth?
ECR Minerals needs revenue in order to achieve a decent market cap. Whilst the ECR team move to Lolworth can not some of the local Blue Mountain landowners assist in exploration and helping with work leading to production at Blue Mountain? A branch of the Aussie Gold Hunters?
Thank you TI.
..........que, mentalmax........they only extended their stay because the digger broke down (sic, in a depressive voice).....😂
.............."We have extended a stay slightly given the positive developments #ECR ".........https://x.com/DDS_DocHoliday/status/1805858136294633910
Where did you get that from TI?
…….looks like they have extended the stay and works at Blue Mountain, I wonder why 😉
That old chestnut Ti 🤦🏻♂️
……sausageonaprick (sorry autocorrect ) don’t downplay small scale production, with a A$80 million tax benefit to utilise any production is going to be very lucrative , anyway good idea to start production whilst exploring 👍
I love his openness and just tell it as it is approach, which maybe the ECR Board are pulling their hair out (obviously metaphorically speaking)
So, according to Adam, they are getting a few more samples this week. Great!!!!!!!!!! More samples to go for testing, yay!!!
Where they are digging now is based on a 30 year old report from the 1980s, where small scale alluvial prospecting took place. It being the last place actively looked at, so the last place people took gold out of the ground. Would it not be better to look in the same alluvial plain but where people haven't already taken the gold out in the 1980s.
Here's the bit I liked the best, Adam said that all other ECR assets were hard rock operations, takes a lot of time, needs drilling and a lot of other stuff. It's good to know that these Blue Mountain alluvial deposits are the assets that are going to be the quickest to exploit, whereas ALL other ECR assets are hard rock and take a lot of time (to exploit).
Whilst I don't wish to to seen as a negative Nelly, I'd like to add that it is positive to see them digging and running a small trailer mounted trommel and sluice plant with a bob cat loading the small amount of dirt they are processing.
I sometimes wonder if he wakes up in the morning and forgets to put his head on the right way and spends the rest of the day giving it a wobble to give the rest of us the appearance he is actually concerned about it. Maybe he should still it up his to see if the elusive gold is hidden up there. Adam our Chief Geologist, keep on digging.
Morning Peeps.........!
"ECR Minerals' chief geologist Adam Jones updates Andrew Scott on the Company's work programs at its Blue Mountain Gold project in Queensland. He also looks ahead to his field trip next week to ECR's Lolworth Gold and Critical Minerals project."

All the best (ya welcome....! :)
To be fair Sausage , You're so negative that if we shoved you in to a barrel with ECR written on it that was full of tits, you'd expect to come out sucking your thumb.
You have to go through stages of process to get to an inferred resource....first stage is to identify the gold course and the presence of gold in that course by trenching so you can guide the drills.
As far your 'leaching' theory is concerned, I believe that there is a processing plant nearby which was muted as potentially being utilised in an old interview, so no need to leach.
But as you have (self- stated!) influence on the BOD who knows, they may change their plans ...lol
Decent interview today. Confirmed that planned activities are funded through 2024 and in to 2025. Activity planned in BM, Lolworth and Tambo. Announcements (plural) over the next couple of weeks and discussions ongoing with other parties ongoing and making progress.
….. *scratches chin*……….. I didn’t think pricks had chins 😂…..
