"All due respect to the Aussie gold hunters but they mostly ever find enough gold to keep the few people involved going for another year. They aren't trying to to find enough to keep a large group of shareholders satisfied"
You are missing the point Boffin, it's not about finding enough to feed shareholders it's about generating enough to cover M&A, initially.
Just a thanks for all you sensible knowledgeable posts TS.... very good to have visible on the thread to counter BS
Good having a troll here to. Often a very positive indicator.
Plenty of progress and good news pipeline going forward.
What is the BB's knowledge of Nick Tulloch's last CEO post and SP effect? I know in detail. I was there. Look it up and ask yourself of you would like 500%, 1000% or 2000% gain?

Mentalmax - just to show us all that the subject of fees paid to "conserve cash" raised by you and endorsed by others including myself has been noted by MW, you can find an extension of the Alan Green/MW on X posted yesterday. In that MW states that the £6K fees were paid to professional advisers. What he did not explain is that these fees have been a regular occurrence and on one occasion amounted to £25k paid in shares; nor that the fact that the conserve cash fees were not stated in the various RNSs as being paid to professional advisers (the RNSs were silent on the point)
But at least one can see that MW at least is reading the bulletin boards - thus the views of commentators on BBs are being noted. Whether they act on them like increasing the market cap by production of gold time will tell. So far in my opinion talk has not worked.
Mental, Absolutely agree with the regular BOD review.... My question is what is AS adding to the company (surely he doesn't charge that much for interviews....lol)?
On the "I suppose they’re paying someone fees to help save money..?" ....the fee was paid in shares rather than cash to the consultant to save money....it was not a 'money saving' consultant (it was not clear language in the RNS) ....I assume the consultant was the Tax consultant.
I suppose all I’m saying is I want to see every pound and penny being spent optimally, and that every member of the BOD can justify why they deserve to be on payroll. Raises dilute the possibility of most of us lot hitting break even so anything to avoid that. I suppose they’re paying someone fees to help save money..?! that’s a start at least ;) good old ECR.
Last time you said that we promptly tanked 20% tech. Mugs game.
We could really do with a second geo as the Co has multiple fronts spread cross county. I think most shareholders would agree to swapping out less needed members of the BOD to pay for this. Could ECR work on a pay as you go system for pr for example? Bloated BOD and one main geo supposedly tackling every inch of Australia!! Don’t buy it.. Mike and Nick let’s reorganise and focus on practical boots on the ground instead of
Boardrooms and spin. it’s got us nowhere.
0.25p full ask for anything. Lets see if we get some traction next week. I'm expecting things to heat up

All due respect to the Aussie gold hunters but they mostly ever find enough gold to keep the few people involved going for another year. They aren't trying to to find enough to keep a large group of shareholders satisfied.
They are a bit like bronze age hunter gatherers living hand to mouth to keep a small family group fed and watered. ECR are trying to be modern farmers trying to develop their land well enough to feed cities of people. It requires a fundamentally different mindset and approach.
That's not to say either are guaranteed success but the two differing approaches aren't really comparable

Thanks SV...informative as ever
That might help digging in the dirt .....
aussie gold hunters on tv prog seem to have a better record of success
Daramunda,
You are correct...the neighbours to the east of Lolworth had discussions with MW.
A team has been doing some work on the east end of the licenses in the last couple of weeks (that was mentioned in another interview)..
Dan
Oh please stop, "we know who you are" I haven't stopped chuckling since I read it.
If Dan1605 you are referring to Blue Mountain I agree that we have historical gold bearing ground but I do not think that we have interest from other parties in respect of Blue Mountain (I may have missed something and stand to correct my view if you can point to that interest). I believe however that MW made a comment in an earlier interview that with regard to Lolworth the company had interest from an unnamed party or parties to the east of the eastern side of the ECR Lolworth tenement. That said if ECR can find a material resource at Blue Mountain (MW did mention seeking an "inferred resource" ) then we are on the way to production and making money which in turn would increase the market cap - a theme that MW keeps returning to. Well if he wants to see the MC increase then take steps to do so. But just as Jones may have been able to get going at Blue Mountain off he goes to Lolworth and we are not aware that any staff were left at Blue Mountain to further explore and deliver. I thus cannot see what management's plan really is. Accordingly I have sympathy with the cynical view of Sausage, whoever he may be and even if he has an angle with MW .
Of Course Sausage , As you would never stoop to ridiculing people :
"All this, in my opinion, excessive results gathering of testing and retesting is like listening to the Keystone Cops on the radio. Are Ant & Dec are turning into Laurel and Hardy?"
They are digging in BM where the 30 year old report said to dig. It doesn't take 9 months to read the report and the rainy season isn't 9 months long.
You are entitled to your view, and I to mine. Attempting (& failing) to ridicule me won't work either. It says more about the type of person you are, than it does me.
They had to reassess the data (as they did for all our licenses) before prioritising the activity.
Then negotiate access with the land owner and wait for the end of the Queensland rainy season.
So they have got on the ground at BM pretty much as fast as they can.
I see you are using a TV show as your main information source...sums you up really.
And FYI. The AGH licenses are pretty much all aluvial.
Talking Sense,
They could easily have gone from soil sampling to setting up a heap leach / production scale washer in Blue Mountains alluvial ground's in 9 months. It doesn't take the Aussie Gold Hunters 9 months to set up production that generates, in some instances, more than $1,000,000 a season. They go into an area based on data, set up the production and get on with it, so I disagree with the "No- company is able to get from soli sampling to hard rock production in 9 months."
All this, in my opinion, excessive results gathering of testing and retesting is like listening to the Keystone Cops on the radio. Are Ant & Dec are turning into Laurel and Hardy?
