How often does the seller (which we assume is Oliveria) have to inform the market of the % still held?
As an example, lets say he's selling 1% a week right down to zero but spreading it equally over all trading days. Any set rules?
Obviously under 3% he doesn't, but I'm puzzled by the amounts in between.
He is a US investor who cares little for the notification rules. He has been selling since the 2 September and the only notification he has provided so far was up until the 13th.
He had 14.5m. He has sold at least 500k shares so far today. There can't be that many left to go. He only held 8% of the UK shares and it's down
30% since he started selling
Rule of thumb to see where or whereabouts a placing would clear, would be to 3 x the shares being issued. So prescribing the same methodology 3 x 14.5 million shares = roughly 45 million volume, about 25 days(?) on current turnover of shares. Just guesswork.
I just wonder how much communication a large seller would have with the Company at this time? If they do communicate I would like to be a fly on the wall.
I imagine there has been some. But if he is having to sell because he needs the money today, then there's not much they can say.
It is a case of good riddance. There is not much info available about Steven Michael Oliveira but I did come across some questioning his reputation with regard to some of his past dealings.
He is also banned by Finra from carrying out brokerage activities
Thanks Sangi. I know you have been buying whilst the price continues to fall. Surely there must be a point when a little doubt creeps in and you decide enough is enough for now?
Silver lining: WorldQuant LLC's not made a significant multi-day whopper out of this slide even though they've been short-biased. With all those algo bots and whatnot. Lame ducks.
Just got another 6224 shares
Sangi you must have bxlls of steel. Good luck.
Well done Sangi. I would if I could too alas all in already. 65p holding up, just about.
I don't think it's that. I am just working on a 3 year minimum time frame. If there is a short term recovery I will probably reduce exposure. Otherwise happy to hold the bag
An update at some point soon in order from DDDD… Quite the decline now.
just bought another 5000 shares as well - average down in the 70s now - who would have thought it possible, with the directors all paying £1.10 themselves...
I have sold everything except Angle Researcher1
yes, DON'T sell Angle Sanji!
Not about to
Average in the 70’s?? You fortunate gent you. How on Earth did you manage that?
Anyone else manage that??
I don’t exactly have balls of flubber . Closer to steel. But whatever I would buy would not dent a large holding. Gotta sit on hands.
I bought even more out of sheer annoyance this morning when the SP dropped in relation to that RNSR - only an early diagnosis for prostate cancer - not in the least useful.....
I say the 70s crl123 - just checked - actually 78.9 - so only just... bought a lot on Friday and two tranches today
65.90. FOMO kicking in.
Wish I had more funds. Had cheeky top-up on Friday at 72p. Such a bargain. What a company…for pennies. We will surely look back and laugh at this share price in months to come. Stay strong, those who may be having a wobble. GLA.
Researcher . Good for you anyway. I bought Fri at 68.8 but my ave is now 96p on a holding to challenge anyone here I suspect. I don’t say that with arrogance. Rather annoyance as buying hardly dents the average. 78.9 is eminently psychologically comforting I would think.
Even with Oliveira selling I am amazed we are here. It feels like it’ll be a long slog to recuperate.
I have same/worse happening on Ncyt.
Not doing so great.
It is as it is
Been penniless before.
Screw it. Just shuffled some finances about and taken some more. 65p was killing me. If it goes down further, I’m selling the missus ;-) Sorry, love.
What’s your ask price? Have a word. :-)
Can’t call the bottom yet :-(
Hmmmm. My buy showing as a sell on LSE. 13.48 1,184 SELL £775.93….
