$7.75 is now £6.10
Surprised
1.27 , and I expected 1.23 as Uk interest rates are expected to drop this Summer before Usa ones
I think new bidders are allowed to Bid only once “ The scheme “ comes out … very soon
Then a 21 day window to offer and bid more … the fireworks are coming soon :) :) … I pray :)
"$7.75 is now £6.10". Personally, I'd like to receive the USD's. Does anyone know if that option is available for this takeover or has it been allowed in other similar US takeovers ?
Microsoft market cap 3.2 Trillion usd ( surely they have 10 billion USD to buy an AI sexy company
I would now expect a second bidder to launch a bid by 31 May … one week after Scheme
Push up towards 1.28 now with inflation data
$7.75 = £6.05 🙄
Wow what an awful awful offer.
Gosh , makes it even cheaper for multiple other bids
Clued - the default payment is in USD but one can elect to receive payment in £ as an option.
The incompetence of the BoD allowing the offer to be made in USD knows no bounds!
It was 527 day before announcement easily heading to 550 as was on an uptrend on results etc
So it’s a ridiculous cheap premium of 10.9% to 15.7% 🤷♂️
The board must be crazy playing it like this unless the game is to get other bidders in 🤔
"The board must be crazy playing it like this unless the game is to get other bidders in.."
Or they are madly sane, go private then relist with an insanely price IPO stateside and become even wealthier overnight. There is no way Poppy et al will be giving this baby away without them being a major part of DARK's future... what, wink, wink assurances have they be given I wonder ... hummmm !!!
aimo & dyor
Poppy planned this 12 months ago most likely , the whole board and staff were loading up on shares in past 2 years
My sense is TB bidded low to allow a counter bid to the bid that might come
If no other bid comes … we need 26 per cent of votes as a big “ No “
Change of tune there Charles. Some of us where very critical of the employee scheme share buy backs and share options that were all done to line the pockets of an underperforming board. Whilst stripping any profits out of the business.
Don’t forget you were all for this saying it’s great that they are being rewarded.
Pointless saying we told you so. You and Rose West were still delusional about a fictitious valuation by Jefferies.
Just take it as a learning lesson you got played and they are all laughing at you at DT headquarters after reading your comments.
The belief that you think voting No will make a difference makes even more comical to them.
Keep up the great work Charles it’s a daily amount of amusement for them.
Well yes I thought ok agree and never expected ML legal case would force Poppies hand to agree to sell out at this price ….
Our only hope is either a No vote or another 2 bids to get over 800 p to save face
At 610 to 620 p a joke , bad joke
3 mill buy 4-35 pm
Thanks Lending. I don't mind USD as I'll use it for US stocks.
Our good old freind Sheltie might be delighted if no higher bids …
He might be right , but actually no one knows , including me
I can’t wait to see what the next 21 days or so brings , feels like Xmas !
Monumental day in the history of the Dark LSE Chat.
At 7.04 on 23 May 24 after 3 years and 24 days Charles CR888 has admitted what we have all known for so long.
“but actually no one knows , including me”
Ain’t that the truth.
