...... on X, has announced about a re-organization within the Group:-

LTI.
Good afternoon all,
The reorganization within CyanConnode has ended up with the India Team header being dropped and a new Leadership header being introduced, along with the usual Board header.
Interesting.
All of the Team India seems to have been morphed into the new Leadership Group, with a new name added, Dushyant Singh, who joined CyanConnode in May 2024 " As Excecutive VP Software at CyanConnode, he will lead the global software team of the organisation."
Very interesting indeed.
LTI.
Dont know about interesting LTI, just very complicated. We are going into bigboy territory without a 50p+ price tag. A bit confusing as we did not see this coming. However still exciting. DYOR if you can work it out.
As CC is going to operate and bid amongst the corporates lets hope the Funda will use the long weekend to digest all the changes and happenings. This could completely reconfigure the face of CC and make it a new company, I am pleased to say. DYOR
Sorry, missed a bit:-

Good Luck all,
LTI.
Good Morning LT,
Many thanks for posting the latest developments on X. This news along with the news regarding Cyan transforming into an AMISP in India is very exciting and I am finding it difficult to keep up!
The Q& A must put some further meat on the bones, surely as some details have been made public.
Things are just beginning to get exciting here, at long last....and I am not even including the long awaited sub contractor awards !
Meters get smart in India PFI projects
Gift city India rec.....I had to laugh
Good afternoon Vas and you are welcome.
CyanConnode admittedly, have been a slow burner over the years Vas, and the management have grappled with some difficult situations during that development period. But CyanConnode have been simmering away quite nicely over the last 2/3 years and is now ready to come to the boil, I feel.
But as I think we agree, along with others, the AMISP progression, gives CyanConnode a whole new different perspective and direction. And not forgetting, as you have implied, the potential for long awaited contract disclosures, but also the opportunity for extending the existing Framework Agreement and other potential Framework Agreements, with other potential Companies.
So, the overall future for CyanConnode, I feel, is very bright.
Have a good weekend Vas and all.
LTI.
'CyanConnode have been simmering away quite nicely over the last 2/3 years'.
Yes, 2.5 years ago they were just under 28p. Simmering away nicely.
Just for once colour put your hands up and say ' I didn't see that coming '. I would guess that if this quickly gets adopted we will not be looking for any share number increases as it will be coming from the banks on a monthly cycle . You never know our luck but Friday should be very interesting. I would not be surprised if the RF certificate is quickly followed by Cellular one. I should imagine that any subsequent CC contracts will contain RF or Cellular modules and if that is the case Cellular will be CC Cellular which is a privare circuit. A lot of the current contracts have not yet been offered out so CC may get a look in there. I think INDORE and MYSORE gave CC an Headsup and confidence. Big jump from suppyling a small but important part of meter so overseeeing the whole works. Still if they can do it then good luck. I must admit no longer easy to follow.
There must be a big rerate coming up. DYOR
Afternoon tony and All
I agree its getting difficult to follow but in a good way, it seems.
Here is something to add to the mix .
The EOI only came out on 6th May and only an expression of Interest ( EOI) but RECPDCL is a subsidiary of REC, and is also funding both DGVCL) and (PGVCL), in a rollout that involves the deployment of 17.7 Lakh Smart Meters and 23.6 Lakh Smart Meters , with Cyan involved.
"RECPDCL aims to expand its service offering in the Smart Meter implementation works.
As a prerequisite, RECPDCL shall have to empanel itself as an Advance Metering
Infrastructure (AMI) – Service Provider with Nodal Agency REC Ltd. This EOI aims to invite
Smart Metering system providers to offer their end-to-end solution and aid RECPDCL in its
empanelment process. This EOI doesn’t entail any financial transaction between RECPDCL
and the selected bidder."
https://recpdcl.in/assets/data/tenders/EoI_AMISP_06052024.pdf
So are RECPDCL going to compete with everyone else in the AMISP arena - they have the funding in pllce it seems - so all they need is a partner or two to have the winning solution.
Interesting times....I think the only thing going to make this sp move up, and stay up is regular announcements of increasing revenue going forward., then eventually the penny will drop or (hopefully go up) that Cyan are worth more in the future than they are today ( as they are holding all these foreword looking orders than need installing) .
I am very interested now what sort of funding Cyan have secured to enable them to become an AMISP and compete for multi million pound awards.....they must have finance secured so to allow them to be empanelled and compete in future awards.
GL ALL
Morning All,
Another RECPDCL document here published a week after the previous one on 14th May. This document is for a EOI for smart meter manufacturers to come forward to supply RECPDCL with smart meters .
The previous document - date 6th May was RECPDCL offering a EOI for providing "ADVANCE METERING INFRASTRUCTURE (AMI) PREPAID SOLUTION".
This new document states..
"RECPDCL is also in the process of Empanelling HES and Communication
Infrastructure Service Providers. The HES and Communication Infrastructure
Service Providers shall have the responsibility to integrate their HES and
Communication Infrastructure with all the meter manufacturers empanelled
under this EOI. Accordingly, all Meter Manufacturers applying under this EOI
shall be required to extend all possible support to HES and Communication
Infrastructure Service Providers engaged under separate EOI for integration of
11 | P a g e
their meters with HES and Communication Infrastructure. This envisages that all
meter makes are integrated with the all HES and Communication Infrastructure
Service Providers empanelled by RECPDCL."

Cheers Vas

LTI, one for the Q&A. You can ask the Q but you won't get an A.
Without any proven ability to EVER trade to end a year in the Black, everyone will, or should, know where the funds will need come from. 2024 will be a record FR and Dilution year by some margin. They won't admit that on Friday either.
The market has weighed up every single piece of news out there (including Friday's 7:00am RNS) and values a Cyan share at 7.9p.
As before, regardless of the company's set up, qualification or number of 'partners', the only thing that matters are sales and the jury is still out on that one as far as Cyan is concerned.
Are the 'partnerships' still in place? The concerns about Genus and Cyan's 'partnership' have been hanging around for ages.
I suspect Fridays RNS tells that story ITT.
Another year, another business plan.
Hi CB
How come the CEO (Ratna Garapati) of Cyan India leaves the company in March'24 and yet the shareholders are not notified?
What is going on here?
Cheers
ITT
ITT, don't start negatives again until we hear what JC has to say. You probably did not envisage that RNS so everybody else is in same position. JC announced his QA last month so was probably waiting to announce this massive change in direction. Just buy your SIPPS before they bounce, LOL.
DYOR.
Hi tonyj
Do you believe that the company should have told shareholders that the CEO of Cyan India left in March'24?
The company are a bleedin joke ITT.
Fridays Q&A will be a continued white noise that will confirm nothing.
Tonyj, ever thought about looking beyond your keyboard?
Friday's RNS is meaningless drivel.
GIC and Genus have set up a USD 2 billion smart meter platform. GIC hold a 74% stake while Genus hold a 26% stake in the joint venture.
Are they seriously attempting to convince the market that a £23m tiddler can compete with set ups like that? Dream on.
Before any company becomes a qualified AMISP I understand there are certain criteria they have to meet - if we put the technological criteria to one side as Cyan have a working, tested full solution - so qualify in this area.
There must be strict rules around finances, and financial backing that all AMISPS must be expected to provide evidence of, before they will be even considered to be empanelled and compete as an AMISP.
I can't see Cyan raising this kind of money, on a regular basis , as the numbers should be to large - so Cyan must have a financial partner in place now - or how else did they qualify as an AMISP!
Unless Cyan are in with RECPDC , re RECPDC funding.
If Cyan as a AMISP won a one million plus smart meter award, for example - who's going to fund the manufacture of the meters, for example - my understanding is its the AMISP with a grant from the government of 15% or something. But its still big money.
Are there strict rules around finances? I doubt it.
If Cyan are genuinely in a position to compete with GIC & Genus's $2 billion platform, something has changed dramatically financially. If so, that leads us back to the AIM rules, which say:-
An AIM company must issue notification without delay of any new developments which are not public knowledge which, if made public, would be likely to lead to a significant movement in the price of its AIM securities. By way of example, this may include matters concerning a change in:
— its financial condition;
— its sphere of activity;
— the performance of its business; or
— its expectation of its performance.
Vas, what do you make of Cyan India's CEO leaving without shareholders being informed?
Hi ITT,
Like you I find this strange but to be honest I also find it strange that NCC , have not posted on any social media platform a welcome message , welcoming Ratna to NCC and stating his new position.
In fact there is nothing published from either company, that i can find.
On his IN page, under his employment history.
It states he started working at NCC in October 23 , and left Cyanconnode in March 24- so for six months he was active in both company's, and then transferred over seemingly permanently to NCC.
I find that quite strange also, but I'm hoping it might signify it was a tenuous move at first ( six months ) , then made permanent, and may signify a future partnership or something positive.
But , yes i agree that cyan should have announced Ratna' s or any significant members move .
Hi Vas
Ratna came across as quite an ambitious type to me. Not a good fit.
