There is absolutely no news on this company and despite (or because of) nice dividends SP is slowly but certainly declining with a small hike in the build-up to divi payments. Anybody who has any clue if we can expect some kind of change here?
I am looking to do the same had a quote 244.5
Sold my 10k shares last month. There's no profit this time, but a £30 loss. I have just bought 6K shares back at 244.9, and will top up if it drops lower.
Now, I am waiting for the dividend time spike. It always does that. So, let's hope that it will happen again in two or three months time.😂😂😂
Yep. Mine too now. Maybe they have someone monitoring this board :-)
Checked for mine at 2pm and it was there.
Mine also held with HL. Nothing yet - but they're always slow.
Has anybody received there Divi payment as yet..particularly H-L
I would have had even more if I hadent lost 40k in cineworld. I guess it ain't all bad made 27k on polymetal and some on rolls royc
Since we're comparing 😉, I currently have 122k divided between ISA and SIPP, the following 20 different shares, each category listed largest to smallest...
Renewable energy: UKW, BSIF, GSEO, AERS, GSL
REITs: RESI, AHH
Financials: LGEN, CSN
Shipping: GSL, DAC, STNG, INSW, SFL, SHIP
Commodities: JLP, CAML, MOS
Midstream (ETF): MLPD
Digital infrastructure: CORD
At the moment I have only put 2.5k in csn but mite sell my 58k in lgen as the dividend is better here. I have direct line, rolls royce and iag, tw as well so I have a 134k in the market in total
Hi. 58K sounds like a lot to me, but of course I don't know how much you have invested in total. I have about 6% each in CSN and LGEN. (Those are my only investments in the financial sector.) If you have £1m invested, then I suppose your CSN position will be about the same % as mine. 😉
Good luck.
I bought in today a small holding so far, but am considering moving my 58k in lgen into this for the dividend.

A very funny day with SP, it spiked sharply in the early morning. I took the opportunity to sell my 7000 shares @258.26. only made £40 of profit, lol.😂😂😂
But then I bought back 10k shares @251.4. I have dropped my break even from 258 down to 252.83! I believe this is near to the bottom of the past year. I don't think it will fall much lower from here, or will it? Hahaha
Hi SK. You're right. I've just had another 5k nibble at 252.5. It would have been too rude not to.
Hello Pangloss. I'm a LTH of this and add during weak periods (like now). Spread under 1% at the moment (acceptable). With a 9% yield this must be at (or near ) basement level barring market meltdown.
I couldn't agree more SK. Personally, I don't care too much about the share price as I'm not looking to sell; I'm just collecting the generous and predictable dividend. The quality of earnings is fantastic and there are only two things put me off buying more: 1 it forms quite a large portion of my portfolio already, 2 the spread is usually quite wide
It's so predictable. CSN only rises up during dividend time. The rest of the year is always down. This time seems even worse. It could drop to below 240. Think I have to set my buy order at a lower price now.
The one drawback I see is that the dividend has continued rising by just 3% a year, despite inflation being much higher over the last 3 years. I suspect that will continue if we have more high inflation in future. That's why I recently reduced my holding by 1/3, though I must admit I'm thinking of buying it back again (at a slightly lower price), as I'm having difficulty finding anything else I want to buy at the moment, especially with most other shares prices having gone up.
Given the excellent yield (maintained over many years) and proximity to years lo the current sp is a bargain
This doesn't look good at all. I have cancelled my buy order for the time being. Will wait and see how low this will go.
Because of the Middle East tension, will my buy order be filled tomorrow perhaps? 😁😁😁
Yes, I am waiting for the drop to below 260's. Already set a buying order @255. 😂😂😂
Sp, below 264.37, which is 61.2%, retracement level. Sp, is now in vicinity of previous support at 260. Sector is falling today and also below the 1/3/24 time pivot low. DYOR.
