now wouldnt that be good... as far as 5gpt, I would work on half that if not less, better to make your figures work on considerably less. 15 days to go!
POG now $1356 / ounce.. lets hope for a recovery of near 5 grams / ton which the resource has been indicated to hold in best case scenario. Is next year the year for crnd's first payment of dividends to long suffering shareholders? Surely this is not completely out of the realm of possibility?! The way I see it the bad days are behind us and time for this Witwatersrand rocket to engage Lift Off! As always DYOR
It's not been updated since 21st. We due a update from the company this month on production figures and what the financial position is, along with new equipment installed 'concentrator circuit ' I hope Gibbo is right on this and we get a buyout for around 15p to 20 p a share as that would put this company to bed for the last time so I can move on from this. Not long now and we should find out where we are going with this.
I still can't find water table level info past the 21st August.....can anybody find current data? Seems a bit strange that we have daily data up to the point where it is getting close to being interesting and the data stops.
My guess is POG possibly @ $1500 (but do your own research as I could be wrong) before year-end or sometime next year.. why on earth would we want to sell out? Possessing amongst the richest gold reserves +- 480 square kilometres.. I say go it alone - FULL STEAM AHEAD crnd!!
I wasn't fishing for details of how many shares and at what price but more asking a basic strategy question. "Should we have limit sells in play like I currently do (each man to his own on target price) or do we just see how the SP moves if/when relisting happens?" My assumption is that there is no obligation for Chairman Simon to give days' notice in an RNS advising on readmission. It could be a 7am RNS for an 8am trading start potentially, or does anyone know different? I say this because last time there was a very brief multi-bag spike, where from memory (about 4 or 5 years ago, I think) the price leapt from something like 5p to 35p and back again in the space of next-to-no-time (minutes) and I had no 'limit sell' order(s) in place, so missed the opportunity to at least cash in some of my investment at a decent high.
I very much doubt that Geezer, everyone has got their own ideas which I'm sure will vary greatly. If we get trading again and a positive statement from our board, hopefully our SP will regain lost ground, but depending on peoples SP average their exit point will vary enormously
Right Gents Assuming we get relisted would it be a good idea to agree a strategy for us large and long term holders?
In fact HiggyP, some ISAs just charge a flat annual fee of £10 - £20 (my Halifax one is £12.50/annum)....and make their main money out of charges on your share purchases/sales. With mine that's £12.50 for anything ad-hoc and £10.50 for a "TradePlan" (aka an advance order). When, like me, you're generally trading in the £100s rather than £1,000s that's quite a significant %age.....but some providers, like HL, charge up to .45 or .5% per annum which could be quite a hit if you have a windfall. Pays to shop around, I guess?
Thank you kindly Dabbler. I promise I won't spend it all ! Big laughs:)) as if I could get lucky on just this one share , for Once \#%damit !
Entirely tax free HiggyP but remember your ISA provider will want their 0.5%, or whatever the rate is they charge for an annual cut of your average balance during the financial year,.....so don't take it out and spend it all! ;-)
If you hold these shares in an investment ISA account and by some heavenly intervention based on star / planet alignment , you actually make a profit on them . Do you have to declare the profit ? Or are investment Isa's exempt ? Or is there a ceiling after which you have to declare ? Thanks
It's exciting - come on, we are either royally F**ked or engulfed by the warm bossum of profit... I've decided I will only worry about issues where I can affect them, the rest, well let's see how it goes and then deal with it.
yes i know i was joking and agree a positive sign
It seems like a mis typo, should read '2017' as it states the ad was updated on 22/08/2018 (2017). If this is to be the case then the kit may have already been installed.
It seemssbt like a mi
i am guessing you didnt notice the dates Start Date: 22 August 2018 End Date: 28 August 2018 6 days work in 12 months lol
Maintenance Fitter required as a permanent position which suggests maybe the new kit has arrived? http://www.centralrandgold.com/careers/current-vacancies/
That would unfortunately constitute the "cute deal" that chairman Simon assured Gibbo wouldn't happen on his watch....but I think we have all been around this one long enough to share your cynicism. I have a feeling that we'll be waiting a couple of weeks yet though to be put us out of our misery. Will be the longest September on record!! Has anyone got their holding sitting on a couple of outrageously optimistic "Limit Sells" like me or are you all going to play it by ear should we be relisted?
i would be made up with 15 -20p However because i am a cynical old fart im more inclined to think we go under, the chinese chap we have the loan with ends up as some kind of prefered creditor and picks the mine up for a song. trust me no one hopes im wrong as much as i do
Gibbo, I have been "tied" up in this share for the last 2.5 years at an average of 17.5p, would love to get some of it back. Appreciate your updates by the way.
Hi Gibbo I hope your prediction is correct. If it is I suggest a day out at Ascot races to enjoy some of our profits and to gamble on something a bit more predictable than this company. Be lucky everyone !!
Well, we have 16 working days left in September, any one up for a bit of guesswork for some entertainment? My money is on we'll be sold, as to the price, somewhere between £0.15 and £0.20. I will of course complain bitterly, as our asset base is vast, but how much will it cost to get the Gold out is the question. Dont take it too seriously, there is nothing that can be said on this board which affect the outcome, we are in the hands of the Gods. Gibbo
This will be my last dabble in AIM... if crnd tip over . I took my chances . Have chose poorly with previous ones namely yell, mtv , cha etc. Yes, you have to be in it to lose it should be the AIM slogan . Sorry I am tired of waiting ..and getting frustrated.
just to add my thanks for your efforts Gibbo. I had pretty much written this off and have to agree with HiggyP that unfortunatly I fear some dodgy deal being worked in the background but I shall try and remain optimistic
