Anyone able to trade shares with ii yet? my last communication from them was that they are still trying to transfer shares over! over 8 weeks now!!
The link comes as a “protected tweet”. Anyone else have it?
The latest from ii
'It took longer than anticipated for the company to issue us with the
certificates for this. This has set back the process back several weeks
unfortunately. Things are in progress but I'm afraid the nature of the process
means we're not able to give a projected date as to when this will be completed
because we are not directly in control of much of the process'.
This sounds very much like DeGiro with the only consolation being that they've now waived the admin fees for the change in exchange (very little difference there on the scheme of things)
So the company took a long time to issue the certificates to them and others!? It's ridiculous how long the whole process is taking. But if it wasn't for the poor sp I'd probably be more annoyed in that respect as it's likely going to be a long wait before fairer value here. So i'll hold for a few months yet. Hopefully not like AIM all over again.
I had contacted ( ii's) and they say they HAVE received the share Certificates-last week, and apparently it takes upto 6 weeks to register ????
i have accused ( ii's ) of being lethargic, dithering, almost corrupt- 3 days before a response
just a note
The CNEL ............IS.......still displaying in my Portfolio-
NO shares numbers, but 100% LOSS of the Sum of monies invested-so are the Brits on here with other
useless Brokerages in the same position, or has THEIR Brokers totally deleted the stock from the owner's
Portfolio ? ( If this is the case ? they need to ask WHY t has disappeared ! )
Last bit was just general info- might be of some help to some.

interestingly i managed to move most of my CNE to IB and i was able to trade these shares probably over 1 month ago. It is a global brokerage that covers all markets and was pretty impressive. However some of my shares got stuck in the move from HSBC who said they were not able to trade theses. However as it is their fault the shares did not move over they are trying to get this sorted. Latest update is that the hard copy share certificate got got lost from HK and they are asking for new ones. i have a named contact at least and can get updates and have my own folder apparently but it seems to me the HK share certificate issuer has made a complete mess of things. Why in this day and age they cant do it digitally i do not know. Why do they need to send a hard copy by a very slow form of delivery.
Frankly I’m disgusted at the share price and performance of the BoD. Not a single RNS apart from half year accounts. It could be a massacre here when we are able to trade our shares in HK
