Little old CLON Still in there swinging ðŸ¤
There's going to more shares in issue than lithium molecules processed. 28% dilution in 2 months.
I'm not sure how a £300k cash raise can prove to the Bolivians that clon has sufficient financial capacity.
I continue to fear the worst, but hope for the best.
Share consolidation will undoubtedly be here in the future...maybe this is the last fundraise at this lowly price.

The closest they’ll ever get to team europe is to buy a day ticket for the ryder cup. I feel conned and upset with it all.
Have I missed something? I thought we were through stage 2 and financials were stage 3.
Reading the RNS are Clon that confident that they will pass stage 3 hence prepping for stage 4?
Positive vibes if that is the case.
Regards BC
Further to the Company's 15th May 2024 announcement, Clontarf and its joint venture partner, NEXT-ChemX, and wider financial partners- are now completing the materials required to be submitted to pass from Phase 3 to Phase 4 of the convocatoria process, which will include confirmation of the JV partners' financial capacity, a review of the last 5-years' accounts and a risk-rating.
it says from phase 3 to phase 4. yes finance is phase three. and the clon and jv are working their bid out.
good news coming in.
The fund raise cleared the way for progress. the participants sure they see the positive outcome coming soon.
good days.
I’m not pleased with another fundraise either, massive dilution in 3 months.
Given the progress made and prospects I’m appalled this fundraise was not at a premium to the previous raise.
I hope that’s it now for fundraising at this price. Maybe the placing was forward sold already after last weeks share price rise.
ATB
I was 100% correct on the placing price. I hope the abuse here from some posters stops for posting things that are not blindly positive.
High level fo commitment from partners:
Clontarf and its joint venture partner, NEXT-ChemX, and wider financial partners- are now completing the materials
sounds good.
Contarf are not interested in their investors. Eventually if it works it does not mean people will make lots of money.
Look at eurotunnel. A triumphant, successful marvel of engineering. But not for early investors who lost Everything. Makes money now though.
Money to be made when the plant is set up and making money at early investors expense.
I view the RNS as very positive. We knew finances were needed and they have built a team of supporting organisations around them. It is all coming together very nicely and they are into phase 4. This is good news from a company making progress and picking up support as and when needed from big players.
From last fundraiser "Your directors are reluctant to dilute at a low share price in challenging stock markets, but the potential prize is too rich to put in jeopardy."
This time are happy to dilute the share.
What choice did they have when the clock is ticking 🤔AIM is finished I’ll NEVER buy again on this market setting not ever 🙄
@ Oneknows
the mistake we make is we do not sale when is jumps 30% up. Aim should be buy and sell as other people mentioned already.
In theory you are correct- but most if us are usually invested at much higher sp prices
Can’t say that I ever saw any information that they weould be in competition with 35 other companies or that there would be 5 phases to complete when the jv was first mentioned either. The only company you should invest in is cmc. I am so close to closing my investment account down for good. POS!
The SP will recover today I expect once people calm down and realise we are actually a lot closer to a positive outcome in the end than we were.
Exactly Hasiba, it is a mate rate!
I 'v seen these with many companies before their SP major recovery.
with friends in and finance proved the sp will start moving up. £300,000 is not a major hurdle when the whole venture could be estimated at at least, £200,000,000 or course this will include plant cost and projected income.
major rerate is on its way.
buy on hold.
Yep, knee jerk reaction to a discounted placing due to the financial pain of dilution. Great entry price for newbies from what i read lately....
It’s a forward selling by their mates at a fixed price to gain 20% at our expense…
Simply dishonest and cheating us …
This practice should be made unlawful with big fines..
No wonder AIM companies can’t be trusted in this country…it’s a Wild West territory!
The BoD gets paid and then bring their mates to fleece the retail shareholders…
Let’s see what transpires by the end of next week!
This price range will stay with us for few days, till further progress is made. Make no mistake when confirmation of project after stage 4 is reached, this sp will be a part of the history. x6 - x10 is likely before even confirmation of plant build.
lots at stake here.
as I said before, sp fluctuation at this level are negligible if you are long term investor.
keep faith.
It is what it is. Some posters appear to be under the illusion that getting this across the line isn't going to cost anything. Being able to prove financial stability usually includes having finances on hand. Concentrate on the end result rather than the line of travel to get there. Remember you haven't lost or gained anything until you sell your shares, and this has always been a long road fraught with many twists and turns and therefore a share for long term investors.
Arahim, that’s been said about countless penny stocks. 9 times out of 10 that doesn’t happen.
The whole this could 10 bag is true of any listing. The problem is the false information investors are given and the corrupt nature of AIM and why it’s failing rapidly.
There is no problems with a placing or two on the way, the problem is how they sucker people in before hand with dodgy spikes or rumours etc etc.
A Quick Look at the chart shows how poorly this company treated its investors, I only look now as it would appear make or break time is near.
From here some positive news could see a great retrace. But the odds are it won’t, like the majority of these messy little companies.
Agree potential significant gains could be had. But early investors fleeced again. Still this company is worth looking at for the potential but do long term investors feel this company is being run well? Do you feel they are really making a genuine effort to return shareholder value?
Wookieemonster, I agree 9 out of 10 explorer companies do fail but the next clon venture is not up to it to manage, it will be with JV and that is production not exploring either. so from now on the view for clon is different. It will have more restrictions and strict time lines observed with partners.
We all know that clon is not going to go it alone hence the irrelevance of clon history and previous lth bitterness.
look at kod 'lithium future producer' as an example. It was a poor explore but once a JV is in place things are different now.
we have to look at it in a new way with all variables coming in.
