Well that explains Callums suspension
Shameful and criminal behaviour from those two.
Just one word. Wow. WTH did they think they were doing? Transferring company assets to personal accounts! Surely that is theft of some sort? This will take some untangling. 🤦♂️
I think they need to call in the SFO , urgently and get some arrests warrants issued
Sound like personal greed and probably criminal action by those guys, I hope and fully expecting the company to complete thorough investigation and act to resolve that shenanigans as quickly as possible and for the best interest of share holders.
Hopefully the damage can be reperabl.
Wow...
Can the Board simply not now reinstate Callum to help to unpick the mess and help steer things forward?
He has already been reinstated.
Very bad news today. Cash and domain gone. I don’t know how Callum can keep his position tbh. I note the unwavering support for the guy but a lot has been going wrong under his watch imo. Maybe a clean slate is needed. If we are afforded the opportunity.
Keep his position ????? Why do you think they suspended him on a trumped up charge. Suggest you read the last few RNS's before coming out with cr*p like that.
I suggest you read all the relevant RNS’s and perhaps it will dawn on you exactly what has happened here and the state of the company.
HK - afraid you have got the wrong end of the stick.
The 2 clowns knew what was coming and knew they wouldn't get away with it while Callum was there, so suspended him on some false allegation in order to strip the company of "their" assets.
HK1965 what’s your angle or should I say who do you work for ????
Which company next will you be working on ????
He's not realised Chills suspended and that any drivel he comes out with won't affect the price.
Lemon. I don’t think you’ve realised that all the cash and the marketplace has gone. The company’s reputation is destroyed and there was already jitters around vaping. However aggressive you are in your posting will not change that fact.
Agreed the company is in the sh*t. £400k has been stolen too. Personally I would continue to use the name and let them sue, it would probably be the quickest way to a resolution. Legal fees on both sides will be huge. But I don't think you can lay any blame on the ceo, indeed I wouldn't be surprised if it were not him who informed the now new board of his worries regarding the crooks months ago, hence our new predicament.
Damn the more I read about Russo and Taylor the worse it gets. They literally tried to sabotage the company and take as much from it as they could. Surely they have no right to sue given they transferred the domain without authorisation - cannot see that holding up in court. Either way, Russo and Taylor won't be finding themselves on another board ever again and I could not be happier that they are now gone.
I think there is a lot of confusion here. Whilst ownership of the domain is being recovered, which is a legal matter and black and white. Chill brands can continue to use the URL as they host the website. No no disruption to online business. Basically Chill brands have been victims of fraud. This will not impact trading in any way.
Absolute diabolical behaviour from the 2 of them, which quite frankly I am not surprised. It was clear such a stunt would have been pulled once we knew their intentions were not aligned with shareholders.
It’s not game over however and I still look forward to a nice rise in SP once this trading suspension is lifted.
Spectral, I agree that trading of the business will not be affected but the whole situation shows how poorly the business was run as if they were aiming towards some sort of phoenix scam. Looking forward to the rebirth of Chill Brands and hopefully with more shareholder value in mind!
I can understand the frustrations of all as too am I but I shall keep calm and wait till Callum has assessed what damage has been done and got expert advice of how to move forward and then Callum addressing shareholders of our planned attack going forward.
Frustrated words on this bb will not help our situation but Callum’s thoughts and direction will go along way .
Yeh believe with Callum's expertise he will be able to turn this around. Given the domain transfer will not effect trading I see little issue with this and am sure it will be resolved soon. Either way, with the suspension on trading likely ending soon we are in a much better place now these idiots are out and would expect us to trade significantly higher.
Etc I'm sure I've read somewhere that Callum was a solicitor, now more than likely this problem isnot his field of expertise but at least he has a foot in the door for contacts etc.
Whilst as shareholders, we are all too aware of recent events, for the average consumer they will be blissfully unaware or what has gone on. They will continue to purchase Chill because they are cool brands with a growing following.
Well I should have checked before posting. This is exactly the area of expertise of both Callum AND director Scott Thompson. With Mr Thompsons past I would be very surprised if he was in on it.
Very surprising that Russo and Taylor should risk this knowing that there are so many shareholders who would be after their blood (figuratively speaking). I suppose the £400k on top of the millions they have already taken out of the company will help them start new lives elsewhere as an option. Will they need bodyguards and protection for the rest of their lives? Shame because its nice to go to a good restaurant without being in fear of your lives. Not that I'd agree with anyone taking direct action of this sort myself, its just an inevitable consequence I would think. I can see this becoming a major film production in the near future, "based on true events". I hope that they're already discussing film rights, I would be.
