Both this and karelian poor company's both at all time lows, avoid both. Garbage, lol
Not many shares left at 6p, bargain hunters entering, with a fair wind this could get back 10p/12p PDQ, gold is up $33oz currently.
The 100k buy took out all of yesterdays overhang.
Yogi1: "I can see it now. Prof: " Marian, hows the form?"
I for one can't see how a serious profession would want the reputational damage of putting their name to a lemon, for what, €10k a year payable in share conversion at the next placement? So at least she must see some potential.
That said, what exactly has Howard Bird done for his €40k since 2020?
DS and MM seem very interested in driving down this stock considering they claim they don't hold anything or lost very little at the beginning. If this is all smoke and mirrors by the prof then why does he and board members hold so many shares and continue to add to their position? Surely they would all sell before this drops to nothing....
"Time for this to get delisted."
oh no moleman......I got high hopes for my last block of 28,888 CGNR!!
GLA
99.81% destruction of investor funds, whilst getting paid to do it. Wily indeed.
Why would anyone choose to reward someone for perpetuating such a scheme? Time for this to get delisted.
Prof so wily he's taken the share price from 40p to under 6p while spending €5 mil in JV funds.
Lots of bashers working the boards here and elsewhere, probably worried about their forward sold shares and short positions which might be in jeopardy, how sweet it would be if they turn out to be the wrong side of the trade.
The Prof is a wily so and so, the current share price makes his recent claim that CGNR is in a very good place look stupid, does the Prof like looking stupid one wonders, most certainly not IMO. Shorts beware !!
Add the missus and the kids... The family business does alright
Nice pay packet… £180,000.00 from CGNR but a paltry £60,000.00 from KDR. Imagine the pay if this was successful. 💶💎
Good luck with all that.
Her time with Barrick included 5 years as Vice President – New Exploration Opportunities where she had specific responsibility for identifying, reviewing and securing new operating districts for Barrick through multiple and innovative earn-in agreements.
Wouldn't it be Barricks first venture into Europe? Thats a fairly big deal in my view.
Marian has skills that will assist in looking for another jv partner. Do you not think Howard Bird has those skills in spades?
I can see it now. Prof: " Marian, hows the form? Any chance you could help me get a jv? Howard is to busy and he prefers doing jv's with Rio Rinto" Marian: " Of course, will I be on the books?..a consultant, an employee, to pay for my services? Tell you what just make me a director in your company for the craic"
In September 2022 she was Barrick VP exploration for Asia Pacific …….Marian Moroney…….. May 2024 she is NED at Conroy gold….. maybe she just likes Guinness and wants to see Ireland!.
She was there as Barrick's nominee. She is no longer a director there. What's your point?
I think she is a strong hire, said that at the time. But all the company has said is they are looking for another JV and Marian has skills that will assist in that.
This might open a few eyes

Prof said… Her input into the process of selecting our next joint venture partner and structuring the partnership to best develop the new and potentially worldclass gold districts owned by the Company in Ireland will be invaluable.”
Barrick's Head Of Exploration In The Andes Is A Born Adventurer …..march 2016
A BORN EXPLORER AND TRAVELER, MARIAN MORONEY HAS WORKED IN BARRICK'S EXPLORATION DEPARTMENT SINCE 2002. DURING THAT TIME, SHE HAS SEARCHED FOR GOLD IN SOME OF THE MOST REMOTE AREAS OF AUSTRALIA AND PAPUA NEW GUINEA. SHE HAS ALSO SERVED AS SENIOR DIRECTOR OF GLOBAL EXPLORATION IN THE COMPANY'S HEAD OFFICE IN TORONTO. IN FEBRUARY, SHE RELOCATED TO SANTIAGO, CHILE, TO BECOME HEAD OF BARRICK'S EXPLORATION PROGRAM IN THE ANDES—A KEY AREA FOR THE COMPANY. MORONEY, WHO HOLDS A BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN GEOLOGY, WAS RECENTLY NAMED TO THIS YEAR'S LIST OF "100 GLOBAL INSPIRATIONAL WOMEN IN MINING" BY WOMEN IN MINING U.K.
I'd say that CGR/CGNR has cost me more than most..& it would be insane to keep investing into CGNR by expecting a different outcome. I have visited Clontibret and spoken to the locals and the Garda......and it's a right laugh.....but you know .....PI confidence is what drives the SP.....and perhaps Prof will deliver (1% chance IMO) ....but either way....if I can claw back some losses here.......I will take what I can get......no point in getting emotive...business is business......and if I see value or opportunity here rather another share....I'll spring into top up action!
I consider it my moral responsibility to ensure posts pointing out the nature of this company are here so new investors don’t get fomo’d into putting too much in.
20 years of diluting shareholders and burning the cash with no progress. 20 more of paying the prof is more likely than signing any major.
So thanks for advice, but I will stay.
Most of the people that come on here with all their negativity have lost money. That's their problem but why do they keep posting on here?
If you don't think the prof will sign a new JV deal then **** off and find something else.
I’ll be here, pointing out there will be 10 years to wait for permission, so no it won’t 40 bag by Christmas. Just as with AAZ and Demir.
In fact here is the strategy for you. On the 0.1% chance a major is signed, take the pop and sell your shares and roll them into that major.
But it won’t happen so you don’t need to worry.
Yes I know what you mean fairview ....it does seem to be in trend to label anyone who disagrees a hater....maybe you "hate them.....lol! I hate losing money and as money talks it hates me talking about it.....lol!

1.This reduction in CGNR was a smart move to limit my losses.......11/01/2024 Sale Conroy Gold and Natural Resources PLC 20,000 £0.1401 2,797.05
2. It may well be time to top up.....I'll take my chances and wait 'till tomorrow since Prof Conman has cost me about £150k in this life so far.....lol.
But never say never......I may top up again!
GLA
All the haters can say what they like. They'll be nowhere to be seen when the new JV lands.
