With all due respect.
The fact that TB bought stock in this vehicle, is irrelevant.
He bought chunks of Chamberlin, and they (despite a steady stream of positive updates) are now suspended and unlikely to exist as we know it. Although allegedly the Cookware division has been swiftly acquired - answers on a postcard.
You may well get a few tops and bottoms right on some of these moves, but I think generally the odds in this game are in someone else's favor.
Thanks Harry , iv been studying the documents at chamberlin I see there is a bit of foul play by the company itself , not sure where tb comes into it , this cook ware business I'm not sure ?
A lot of the big investors did not sell !!
The winding up petition by the Company's main power supplier and a court hearing was held this morning, where it was determined that the hearing would be adjourned until 2 July 2024.
Was just reading the placing document 9th January 2024 where it mentions TB Executive Director....
Good morning Harry, a early read being 1 hour ahead of uk time as I visit poland !!
TB executive director of chamberlin, I have read some reports and the selling of petrel, then the company price picked there products ,, a few bad mistakes and another blow to the west midlands Engineering manufacturing industry + a strange call for the electricity provider to ask for its winding up , seems like some angry individuals and falling out and staff parting !!
Chamberlin recently sold its specialist industrial manufacturing subsidiary, Petrel Ltd, in a £3m deal with Project Apollo, part of the investment firm Longacre Group.
The group made pre-tax losses of £1.1m last year and said it was “adversely impacted by the effect of icnreases in the Bank of England base rate on financing costs.

Project Apollo, part of investment firm Longacre Group, has bought Petrel, which operates across the world in the oil and gas, marine and defence sectors.
Petrel’s 35 employees based in Kitts Green, Birmingham, will be retained by the new owners and will add to its 700 employees across Europe, US and Asia.
The acquisition will provide Walsall-based Chamberlin with “an exciting new chapter” to invest in the development of steel production at Russell Ductile Castings and spheroidal graphite iron production at Chamberlin and Hill Castings.
Proceeds from the deal are expected to reduce the group’s liabilities by £2.6m and contribute a profit of no less than £2m in 2024. £600,000 will be paid to HSBC to reduce Chamberlin’s debt and release certain charges over the shares and assets of Petrel.
Revenue at the group has marginally increased by £100k to £10.6m in H1 2024 in comparison to the previous year. Chamberlin has also reported an underlying operating profit of £100k (H1 2023: £100k loss). The deal comes after £1.16m was raised in share placings to support its growth strategy and strengthen its balance sheet.
Bullish a rising stock ,a long way to go to pi averages .
