Looks like the press is determined to put negative spin on again. I just hope that BOO have got their counter PR ready.
I'm an investor here but even I can admit, that is all pretty damning stuff.
I see some investors have switched (sold) and are now trying to encourage the drop, brilliant to watch.
Gotta try to buy back in, lol.
Pure greed. Shame they are so transparent lol.
Did they read the rns ... ridiculous
"Boohoo had failed to look out for their supply chain workers .. because they are largely invisible to them. It is hard for people to empathise with the plight of those of whom they know little"
Uh yeah, because they are their fecking suppliers not employees.
Almost word for word the same negative spin in the Telegraph

I guess we can expect a weekend of this - especially from the Sunday Times!
The main takeaway
“ Her report cleared Boohoo of committing the crimes of modern slavery.”
I agree, the business press has covered this well, of course, the tabloids will quote sections- it sells. TIming however is everything, we have 2 full trading days left before results, which we know will be stellar. Q1 results, middle of lockdown, were unbelievable (international growth up 56%) i expect better results given lockdown restrictions lifted and general summer retail boost in sales. 415, as Jp Morgan quoted, is likely although could equally see a new high
"I guess we can expect a weekend of this - especially from the Sunday Times!"
nah that'll be the guardian! but as long as the company continues along the lines of the recommendations of the report, any over doing it will eventaully backfire as it will begin to look like discrimination at best.
All of this news also waters down the effect of any guardian or sunday times over the weekend.
Whatever they say, is not new news.
Onwards to £4 then £5 on bumper sales in the interim RNS on 30th Sept. IMO :)
I sold my holding for 395p this morning as I strongly believe that this stock will not pass 400p this year, mark my words. Too much silly optimism on here. I may buy back in if it dips back below 345p this month.
Small man syndrome making stuff up.
October next week. Christmas shopping will be away from high streets and online more than ever this year and Boohoo prices will welcome so many more
Customers.
I’m already excited for January earnings. £4 I see you there ahead. £5, I shall see you soon too.
The numbers will speak for itself on 30th, mark my words Bearded you'll be wrong :)
There is zero chance they sold at the very top on open
funny isn't it hindsight traders.
Ideal world of bb would be a security feature that doesn't allow you to say this is going up without showing why etc. And in this scenario "i sold earlier to get out now and buy at 255p", well before you influence others show the evidence.
Not going to happen just feel for the newbies who believe the lies and rampers.
