Private Investors owe each other nothing, but over the past few months myself and others have questioned the "it's different this time" hype from one particular shareholder, while it was clearly no different to the past 5 years of jam-tomorrow from SatoshiPay.
The TR1 smacks of pump and dump
Classic deramping tactics from not all there 1 so I am filtering him and suggest others do.
The way some people have gone off on here and Twitter, I’d sell the fookin lot, let it plunge and to hell with the lot of you. So childish. People - this guy owes YOU nothing! Grow the fook up.
Yawn…. wake me up at 7am….
To expand for you......The discussion was initiated by people discussing whether TheeDuke was being prudent in his portfolio management or just tinkering to pay for something he needed to.
Reducing your holding by 2.7% is hardly determined management, it is just tinkering. Halving your holding by, say, 'selling half on the double' is meaningful.......
Does that help......?
ICB888....Stop it....YOU are making a fool of yourself...We are not smoking anything....Don't be so arrogant.
The point is simple...just because you don't understand it, doesn't make it nonsense......
I do suggest, though, that you read about Dunning-Kruger syndrome.........
TheeDuke sold 2.7% of HIS holding and his holding in BLU reduced by 0.3% from 11% to 10.7%. It's not difficult.......
End of......
I’m more focussed on the sea of red out there right now than on just one investor…. looks like tomorrow will be interesting
I have absolutely no idea what you pair are smoking or the point you are trying to make. I suggest anyone who has any interest in this exchange to simply refers to the RNS which will confirm that Mark White’s notifiable interest in BLU reduced today by 0.3% from 11% to 10.7%.
"very minor 0.3% and not a more substantial 2%."......You are comparing apples and pears...take the point.....
He reduced his holding by 2% (based on the 11m transaction noted before the RNS)/ This IS 2% of his holding. 11m/550m = 2%
His holding reduces by 0.3% as a percentage holding of the company....from 11% to 10.7%.
Apples and pears......
No, you didn't.
"Notready, your percentages for Mark White’s holding are incorrect as he has not sold 2% of his holding. He has sold 0.3% of his holding"
This is incorrect.
Cranshaw, I made it perfectly clear that it was a 0.3% reduction in his holding in the companies shares by stating it reduced from 11% to 10.7%. I imagine it was not to confusing for most people and if they have read the RNS it would be crystal clear.
You may not care what Mark has done but it can influence others which is why large shareholders have to RNS changes to the number of shares they hold. I just wanted to make it clear to people who do take notice that it was a very minor 0.3% and not a more substantial 2%.
Crawshaw...Yes, you are right and I was right...my figure was based solely on the 11m trade spotted earlier today....2%. Still doesn't change my point.
He is a PI and is not going to mount a takeover so will exit as will we all at some price
ICB888, I'm impartial, I don't care what Mark has, or hasn't done, but your percentages are wrong.
He has not sold 0.3% of HIS holding, he has sold 0.3% of the company's outstanding shares.
ICB888....Yes, you are correct. It does not change my point that he was not doing it for sensible macro de-risking purposes for which he was being praised, but for a particular personal requirement, which we all might have from time to time, whatever we said previously we weren't going to do. 2% or 0.3% is still too small to be significant.
I still think Mark gets carried away as the price rises (from his own posts about wishing he'd held off) and regrets his topping up when the price halves ("I'm a long term holder")....just like the rest of us......
Notready, your percentages for Mark White’s holding are incorrect as he has not sold 2% of his holding. He has sold 0.3% of his holding reducing from 11% to 10.7%. A very small reduction and he remains the largest shareholder. He will not want it to fall as he is the biggest loser if it does so. Sale absorbed by the market, so should be onwards and upwards now as we await further news. A deal with big tech be it sale to or a large stake could be announced at any time as the discussions have been ongoing for a few months now.
It is your decision Duke sold myself for the 2nd time on Friday for nice profit bought a few back this morning
Can do as he pleases
He needed some dough
Good luck to him
I think 0.4 has a lot of value so I’m not selling at this price but anyone that does good luck
To them and cash is king sometimes ..except when inflation is rampant
I still think SP is valued at 0p and we will be worth 0.6p plus
Follow your own hunch/gut..not others
He had 550,000,000....sold c.11m, only 2% of his holding. As he said, money needed for personal matters (none of our business), but please stop praising him for 'de-risking', etc.. Thee Duke knows what he is doing/has done. He got carried away going from 400m to 550m at up to 0.55p...you can see from his posts.. and he would have been annoyed down at 0.24p even if his posts would then have been the rationalising cliche "I'm in for the long-term". You can bet he would have preferred to top up at 0.3p instead of 0.55p!
Hindsight is a wonderful thing, I know, but getting carried away buying on the up, saying things like I'm not selling any, I'm in for the long-term...and then selling a few means he's just like the rest of us...only probably with a lot more money. ;-)
You owe no one an explanation, no one here should feel the need to apologise for any way they choose to play the game, whether they be day trader or long term holder. We’re all here for the same reason. How we play the game is our own business and no one else’s (although I appreciate that some holders have to notify by law of course lol )
I still think likely Dynasty gets sold for 150m so That’s 0.4p to Blu
That’s why I think we get to 0.6p at least as Satoshi HAS to be worth at least 0.2p
It should be noted that Pendulum will be busy with its Roadmap this Q2 :
2022 Q2
Pendulum Litepaper
Forex AMM Whitepaper
Ecosystem Grants Program
Spacewalk:
Multi-asset Collateral Management
Stellar Oracle
Whitepaper
Pallet Release
Bridge Launch on Testnet .
There is every reason to believe we will get value enhancing RNS announcements from Satoshipay during the current quarter. Satoshipay is very undervalued at its current value in our accounts. Big news of a deal at Dynasty could land at anytime.
its only money dukee
look after number one old fella, in reality, its you versus the market...you do not owe anyone on here anything...
Have have taken the opportunity to add some!
Sensible to sell a few duke. You need to benefit from your investment. There are no pockets in a shroud do they say lol. I personally only found out about this company from your tweets. It has made me a few thousand and I am very grateful
No credibility lost as far as I am concerned. Good of you to share the info. Explains the drop maybe
