What options are PIs taking on the wind up, and why?
I am minded to take the cash and move on.
The approach running up to June is covered in the Chairman's report to the accounts published yesterday. Hope this link will work.
https://www.aberforth.co.uk/assets/pages/documents/aslit1223interim.pdf
Long story short ... shareholder vote on the future in the run up to June wind up and, as far as i can tell, shareholder options will include both a cash alternative and reinvestment in to a new split fund launched in parallel.
Dies anyone, who knows more about this than me, have any thoughts on the plans for winding up/carrying on?

RT,
It depends on the midprice at the time of the transaction.
If the deal price is above the midprice then it shows as a buy and vice versa, no matter what actually occurred.
Nd
I don't know how this website determines whether a transaction is a buy or a sell, but the 14,000 shares traded this morning was mine. This was a buy, not a sell - can anyone enlighten me on how this happens please?

NAV shows material drop in latest results (still higher than sp but reasonable discount was expected anyways),
let's hope their capital adequately recovers after all this market valuation volatility settles.
I've held this for a long time, buying in at 80p a good while ago. I checked in on the price in late 2020 - shocked to see it at 45p. So I bought some more, hoping the high leverage would see the price rise in a recovery. It's now at 80p with a NAV of circa 90p. Things can change in a short period of time - I'm glad I held my nerve.
Due to mature in2024. So not long to regain losses. Have to look into it a bit before dipping in. GL

I have rolled over into this and wonder why the weakness ? Any ideas ? Might top up if the weakness has no palpable explanation .
