There you go Maddog.... ty Gallder.
As I said, swap 2 will have been wildly profitable for ANGS over the Jan-Jun 23 6 months it was put in palce.
The reduction in the swap loss resulting from the changes to the swap schedule in Sept 22 and
new swaps in H1 23 are as follows.
SEP 22 £582,955 reduction in swap loss.
JAN 23 £813,603 reduction in swap loss.
FEB 23 £787,812 reduction in swap loss.
MAR 23 £956,825 reduction in swap loss.
APR 23 £603,941 reduction in swap loss.
MAY 23 £701,075 reduction in swap loss.
JUN 23 £700K estimate of reduction in swap loss.
Total is £5,146,002 reduction in swap loss resulting in an increase to profit of £5,146,002
Thanks for your replies, Chesh.
Current reported volume today is 11.5 million, or 0.32% of shares in issue. That is low. Again
This needs circa 50m daily volume (ideally 100m) for it to be considered 'lots of trades', imo.
These large trades you talk of for 1m shares - these are roughly £12,000 in value, sorry but not large trades by any stretch.
There is a big difference between what is a large trade for a PI, and a large trade as far as the market is concerned.
I just do not see "loads of buys" when there is a total of 68 reported trades in a day with a combined value of £133k (buys and sells).
Hoping for an improvement, but it will need news, imo
gla
I'm sure you can do the simple maths, Maddog? Or use Gallder's figures?
I'm failing to see the point you're obviously keen to make?
.......and the "X3 Buy orders on the regular Auctions for 1m.......!
priced @1.00p, 1.10p and 1.13p.........!" still stands............!
All the best (they may have to up the price now.......! :()
Near term targets on this over sold stock.............?
check out the x3 DMA's........ 1.25p, 1.5p and 1.65p ish.........! :)
All the best (be alot more in the long term.........! :()
I did both message Angus off the Q & A page and I also sent them an email to either correct the possible typo regarding 3rd compressor, though there is zero logic for a third at this time, and if it is a 3rd compressor then they should inform the market as such, as it is a high value additional asset and for what reason.
They have not amended the answered question and I had no response either, so they obviously don't care to follow up.
I agree with the others who thought it was a typo - there are only two compressors and the second was only recently installed (it wasn’t a quick job either, but one that took months). I wonder whether it was Freudian typo though? Previously the next step after the sidetrack was to consider a second sidetrack to open the southern lobe, but in the recent interview Richard Herbert raised the prospect of increasing the plant capacity so that the gas they already have access to can be extracted faster. If that provides a better/quicker return on capital, it’ll be a good option.
Ab76 re IQ answer :
Did we know about the third Compressor ????
I guess I missed something, BUT great news as they obviously expect bigger things !!
I thought the 800k @ full Ask was a one off...........! :)
happy to be proved wrong on that thought........! :()
All the best (more delayed trades tomorrow.........? :()
How much have we made out of hedge2 hits?
Baits, no flow but still had 6k revenue.
Figures shown on the site keep changing?
As said getting zero would require some precise timings turning off the taps.
Let's be courteous to the clearly very poorly informed. This from page 69 of the last FY report (and this had been announced several times before that):-
"24. Loan Payable
On 17 May 2021, the Group signed a Loan Facility, conditional on the setting of the hedge (see Note 25) and regulatory approval of the royalty from the Oil and Gas Authority, between Angus Energy and Saltfleetby Energy Limited and Mercuria Energy Trading Limited and Aleph Saltfleetby Limited as the co-Lender. The term of the Loan Facility provides for a four year amortisation loan facility of up to £12 million with a 12% margin over LIBOR, a 3% commitment fee payable out of the facility, a share granted of 30 million shares in Angus, issued over the life of the facility and an override of 8% of gross revenue following the repayment of the facility."
The last sentence is the one that those having done a bare modicum of research are referring to here.
Perhaps the planned shut down referred to in this answer:
“What is the cause of the current inconsistent flow readings, is the well cleaning up as expected or are you experiencing increased waste liquids? Are Works to the permanent pipeline causing stoppages? Are you experiencing tripping similar to when the initial wells were brought online?
“Asked on 31 May 2023
“Principally tripping has been to do with increased flow rates but also load balancing around the compressors, the control systems and ongoing teething problems with the units as the third compressor is settling in. The plant seems to have steadied now but we do have a two/three day shutdown planned for June, and will have shutdowns in future months. They do not mean that there are any insurmountable problems and we aren’t budgeting for regular outages, beyond a day a month’s maintenance shut down.”
Canary, all interest payable on loans in deducted against profits.

The unbalanced one is on filter for me as it offers absolutely nothing…..apart from insults. I take it he was questioning the 8% gross figure? Not like it’s not mentioned anywhere is it!! Several RNS’s, CPR,s, annual accounts…….and it’s the fact that it’s a gross figure that’s the kick in the teeth. And yes the CPR confirmed it kicks in after 85% of the loan is paid before the unbalanced one starts again!
Seem more likely to be correct, as to be a normal daily figure, followed by a day of zero output, surely would involve turning off the taps at exactly midnight?
Figures now changed, hope they're now correct and assume an earlier mistake? Shows continuing small daily increases:

What are the tax advantages?
But Octane, that is a simple question without insulting anyone. And I like that HITS has mentioned all the interest payments, but forgot the Tax reduction advantages.
If this is correct, hope it's just a day's maintenance connecting the permanent pipe work:
