And copper seems to be hitting new highs.
Yes I agree and feel the interims will be very positive. The investment in the copper mines although small should be doing well and there should be opportunities for MGR to market the mines copper into the region. This together with Iron Ore into China and other territories will also enhance MGRs position and profitability. The rig sale will be a bonus from a cash point and the yard is well able to tick over in the short term. With a M/C of less than £5m I see AMED as well undervalued with massive upside when the potential is better realised by investors.
Iron ore prices received a major boost Monday hitting its highest level in eight months after upbeat Chinese data showed its construction sector in July grew the most in almost four years, see below link. With the continued copper prices' resurgence too, year-on-year, all looking positive for September's(and hopefully into next year's) Results re MGR. It's highly geared towards metal prices, particularly aforementioned & the January's loan & copper mine's direct input additionally helping with profits, one expects. Plus the offshore yard should've taken on greater work from YZJ. And news on the rig delivery latest expected. http://www.mining.com/upbeat-china-data-sends-iron-ore-flying-climbs-the-most-in-8-month/
Still strong but not yet recognised in the SP. Under 20p worth a top up IMO
that's seems to be the only volume to try to get a deal done
Limit to buy seems to be a poxy 3,800 shares(at an unchanged 14.98p) or above it goes to Negotiated Order; However, you can sell large amounts at 13.62p. Appears to me the MM's are aware positive news may be near and they are 'tightening up' & hoping for weak sellers, at the same time making it difficult to buy any kind of quantity. The amount you can sell is reminiscent of last December's rise. IMO

I don't think that the market has woken up to the potential at AMED as the copper price rises. MGR that brokers copper into China as well as other commodities will be benefitting and that is why AMED advanced more money to MGR. The copper mine investment will also have added value and the rig will be a massive bonus.
Absolutely, below link detailed information on why copper prices are surging. http://www.mining.com/copper-price-surges-2-year-high/ And if oil prices finally do continue their rally, approaching the $60 mark I feel that can only help developments in the rig sale delays
Copper price on the increase which can only help the new copper mine investment and the Broking of MGR. Also the value of the yard should be realised at some stage. The MC of less than £5m substantially undervalues AMED IMO.
I wonder whether our JV yard will attract interest? http://splash247.com/keppel-sembcorp-merger-speculation-resurfaces/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter

Positive recovery for copper bodes well for our 49% holding in MGR Resources, which with reasonably robust iron ore prices, improved year-on-year, and our start of the year $800K loan to MGR, should mean MGR increasingly profitable. http://www.mining.com/copper-price-jumps-gangbusters-china-growth/ http://www.mining.com/rios-revised-iron-ore-guidance-pushes-price-three-month-high/ About seven weeks until September's Interims I expect. In the meantime if we get the rig sale, this will surge.
A little interest by the looks of it.
AGM this afternoon. It will be nice to get an update on the rig and also the current trading of MGR. massively undervalued on the potential sale of the rig. Strong investors and no borrowing.
full offer even though you can buy for less
Stay away from ANY firm that has Zarfarillah Karim involved with it. You will be raped.

then we were notified in the Finals, released on 14 June 2016, that the rig was purchased by Keppel FELS. Given they are a huge market leader, funding is clearly being raised by its client:- "Le Tourneau was recently purchased by Keppel FELs, which has built and delivered almost half of the world's jack up and semi-submersibles in the past decade, due to the importance and uniqueness of the Le Tourneau design. Moreover, in the current new build market, there are no Le Tourneaus that have been built on speculation. All have been ordered for clients and by clients."
