How long before ABB buy out AFC? Once they have had the first 10 x 200kW systems?
I do wonder because ABB have been very prolific with acquisitions in their 2023 financial year, as can be seen from their Q4 results just released. And they also massively boosted their cash pile to $3.89Bn.
Buying AFC would be so easy at the low MCap it has right now. Even if AFC tripled in price, it would still easily be affordable to ABB.

That buyout 💩 again from stock💩check haggis b💩 to create excitement and drag mir poor shareholders into the stock and then disappearing ones gollum has done the work for his master - 🤡
Baseless speculation. Many people have written in here that this would be a small bite acquisition for an oil major and have been told not to be silly. Quite probably by the initiator of this thread.
Stockcheque
Any firm can be bought out including ITM, CWR or AFC. Why I you suggesting they will be bought out by ABB. I think you shouldn't be making such statements without clear evidence. I think you are only trying to pump up the share price for your own gain and then sell. They might very well be bought out but so might any company.
"small bite acquisition for an oil major"
What on Earth are you on?
ABB has nothing to do with oil, it certainly is NOT an oil major, it's market is ELECTRICITY not oil.
And as for 'small bite', none of the six companies ABB acquired are any bigger than AFC!
Constructivenews,
Read my first post again. I said it is because: "ABB have been very prolific with acquisitions in their 2023 financial year, as can be seen from their Q4 results just released. And they also massively boosted their cash pile to $3.89Bn."
What don't you understand about that?
As for your pump and dump rubbish, I clearly also stated "How long before ABB buy out AFC? Once they have had the first 10 x 200kW systems?"
Which is not anytime close to now so can't be a pump n dump, as ABB have to agree to take the other 9 systems and for AFC to build and deliver them. ABB have so far only agreed to take the first, which we expect has been delivered in late 2023 and is undergoing validation). So no way can this be seen as a pump and dump.
On top of which I have clearly stated my position is to hold until AFC are successful in all of their markets and are levelling off, which is at least a few years away.
Constructivenews,
And it is obvious that ABB would be far more interested in buying AFC than buying CWR or ITM, as it has chosen to market AFC Fuel Cell systems not systems from the other two, and the Ammonia Cracker also fits in with what they are doing in the Marine and off grid power markets.
My concern is that AFC get taken out before they get to the point where they are successful in all of their market and are levelling off (the peak point to sell at), and long term investors don't get the dream £'s per share they are hoping for. I has sweet FA to do with a pump n dump, last thing I would do after over a decade of building up a huge holding is to dump the stock on a spike. Utter garbage accusation that is.
Buyout simply won't happen.
All I'm saying is you may well be right. Just no one knows. But if I was ABB & intrested in buying AfC out. Why not do it now while the price is relatively low. It would make sense.
Every oil major is diversifying into greener tech. As you well know.
Construct , looks like you know nothing under which conditions even it they would want, ABB can acquire companies, but be assured AFC is far away from meeting those conditions . ABB can not just buy anyone
You state all of these "facts" from your personal journey in Afc energy but you still deny you are Haggis. When we all know you are.
So on this basis we can't really believe a word you say.
We all know the psychologically disturbed Ade, garmoan, Daz and the boys agenda of putting down afc energy whatever RNS comes out and the daily bashing is laughable but what is your agenda?
Two extremes of a spectrum playing silly games me thinks.
I think any buyout (if any) is a tad premature to be thinking that at this stage.
Lots of information in that article.
For a company on the cusp of greatness, there's an awful lot of silence around, including on this board. Looks like apathy has finally taken over.
Nice twist but more likely due to you and your crew trashing this board with your misinformation
