Every case is different though, it just comes down to who is doing the negotiating on behalf of the company and by extension on behalf of the shareholders which in this particular company the directors hold 10% of the shares at this point so it wouldn’t make sense for them to negotiate a deal that will mean their holdings are worth less than before the suspension so predicated on that premise I hope that there will be gains for all of us upon the resumption of trading!
Jonesrichard , I can’t find anywhere directors holding 10%. Also is it still worth buying after suspension is lifted? It went up 87% on Friday.
He confirms it in the following interview:

Happy to be corrected but I thought he stated that the directors now own 10% of the total shares in issue?
Only you can make that decision yourself.
I don't think I'm alone here by saying there's something not right with copl..
Any price targets after the deal is done?
Assuming that it is good.
GLA
Impossible without knowing the detail of the assets, production and financial deal.
The last two projects failed.
As a shell company, any new acquisition will be followed by a fundraiser. Following the line of COPL. Debt & hedge the debts & you end up with a pot of gold that you cannot hold.
Still speculative investors will pile in & SP will likely go up until the fundraiser is announced.
One to watch or if you in, a x2 or x3 from current price depending on the deal.
88E is another wait for the pump.
PANR borders 88E & has done far better but SP has dropped a bit, but should pick up.
Yes, I concur, a 2-3 times increase could be seen here for sure.
I'm not going to be greedy here as I only bought last week at the lowest point.
So we can all look forward to information on the new deal.
Best of luck to everyone.
Yes, a few bags would be a nice start no doubt
I have been thinking about this company today and having only invested £1,000.00 I have decided to just leave it for 12 months.
I have nothing to lose in the grand scheme of things.
I might be looking at a 15 - 20 bag by then!!!
GLA
I bought this on the way down and got spiked tbh.
I need it to double from here just to break even.
I had written this off, but actually be my shining star this year!!
GLA!
Buying is now dictated by RTO. Will remain suspended till deal or failure. Then just one month of 6 months AIM rule 15 left.
