Wasn’t this stock pumped by Doc Holiday on twitter in recent months?
If I had to select a dog breed to compare this stock to it would be a Hairy Hairless
Actually really surprised at the sell-off. I thought this was priced in. They said nothing new in the RNS and re-iterated they are committed to exploring other opportunities just now.
Don't give up yet - they do have some opportunity and expertise!!
In my opinion it was clear that if they failed at B10 then the company was screwed.
That didn’t need explaining to me as it was clear but I took the risk.
As I recall (please correct me if wrong), the data and the seismic they were relying on was outdated, and they chose to wholly rely on it because it supported their narrative, instead of doing the prudent thing and maybe putting some money into it (under the explanation of de-risking) to refresh the data. So that's where people can fault Peterkin and the BoD. They can also fault Peterkin for not having a plan B, and when explicitly asked about a possible failure and 'what then', he simply chose to avoid the question by turning into a zen master and telling everyone to think positive thoughts and not think about failure. How can you not think about failure and have nothing to fall back on in O&G exploration? 88E? Empyrean? Many more just in recent memory.
No more liabilities is good and they have more cash than MKP so any deal announced in the next few months will send this into orbit
I don’t get this “take them for a ride” view.
We all read the RISC report with a chance of success 95% ,but when they drilled the oil wasn’t there - how does it make that their fault
I find this wanting to blame somebody as though it’s their fault absolutely ludicrous.
I lost a lot of money here but I accept it’s one of those things but trying to make out somebody has deceived us is just wrong
Sorry to say but they are surely gone in 6 months. LP took everyone for a ride
Not much to add, but good to have an update and to know that there are no further unexpected liabilities re Buffalo. As they conclude, let's wait very patiently for the next deal: 'The Company continues to evaluate a number of oil and gas opportunities, with an emphasis on materiality and cash flow generation in line with its stated strategy.'
Given LB’s previous experience with CHAR in Namibia I am hopefully that he is going to magic up an opportunity that will transform this train wreck. Just take a look at how CHAR went from 1.8p to where they are now, based on a gas field …….appearing out of nowhere!
Like SI, I was in ADV from the start with 7m shares at an average of 2.2p. Luckily I smelt something fishy, so sold out 5.5m just before the bad news dropped. Luckily I bought back into CHAR at 8p, so have recouped my losses here.
Have now bought some more ADV at the bottom, so sitting with 3m now. I’m actually quite hopeful that big money shenanigans are working with LB and they will be cooking something up. This company is now a shell with potential to multibag very quickly on good news.
GLA!
ShareInv, agree that patience is needed here, however the committed to progress the pipeline opportunities was communicated back in January, appreciate that these things do take time... Since the Jan RNS, the world has changed especially in ADV sector, Mr West has departed with no adverse effects reported, I just believe that it would be a positive move by the board to give us all and update on pipeline progressions and if any new opportunities have come to light and been added to the pipeline.
I am in for the long haul on this one and wish the board every success in bringing opportunites over the line.
Yakuzablue, I think they are looking at several deals as stated in the past and one has to wait patiently until they close one deemed accretive, there is not a lot more they can add in my opinion. In one of the latest the last RNS they mentioned: 'The Board are committed to delivering assets from the business development pipeline and excited by the opportunity it offers, and we look forward to updating the market as these progress'
They always have their own interests at heart!!
All, I too am still holding hoping for some good news soon... I would like to hear some sort of update from the board as to what they have been up to and do they expect to close a deal in the not too distant future at the very least before the monies run out. I have emailed Investor Relations several times over that past few months, but as of yet not had a reply or even an acknowledgement that my emails have been recieved. If any fellow shareholders could try contacting Investor Relations to see if you can get a response that would put my mind at ease that as I am beginning to think that the board may have their own future interest at heart.......
Grezzz,
Exactly my sentiment. I made the decision to buy, nobody else.
And am like you, I will monitor from to time
GLA
Seagull fan I still hold all my shares which I had into Buffalo results and very rarely post on here as pointless until news drop. I remain of the idea that the remaining board is very smart and will deliver another deal, hence holding all. It’s purely a waiting game now. Enough from me, I’ll post again when a deal lands, hopefully at some point this year.
Low volume so this could push through quite quickly
CEO sat on 6 month options which vest at 0.30p. We'll be getting paid if he does!
Keep dropping everyday
Company is
worthless
@Grezzz
I assume it’s because they have a sad pathetic life really. Maybe they think it makes them look clever, but if they were so clever they wouldn’t have abused the people who de-risked as being idiots.
Like you I took a shafting here, but that was my decision. I’ve held my shares but have written them off. Any deal will be a bonus.
Plenty of us took a painful hit on this investment (I'm still sitting on a rubber ring) but I don't get this constant *****ing and moaning by 'certain' participants. It's tough, but get over it, take it and move on, but please quit these very childish outbursts - you're making a fool of yourself. Those of us who choose to maintain our holding check in here to monitor any developments and not read the petulant rants of a sore loser. Grow up FFS.
