Crystal Amber's year end is 30th June, so I question your logic on that front.
As for the exercising of Warrants, etc., I confess that this is well outside my area of expertise. Perhaps Biffadog has something to say on the topic, although I note that he has been very quiet these last few weeks.
Guys you are reading too much into the CA moves.
If you look back a little further into their actions they exercised a quantity of Warrants at 20p and it looks to me they are most likely really just balancing their books by realising profits to offset losses. probably needed before year end.
An institution selling out does not buy and sell shares, they just sell. On the flip side the chances of them increasing their holding materially are on par with the chances of seeing a flying pig.
Mr Z,
" Mr. Bernstein probably has superior knowledge"
Wrong.
He probably has ACCESS to superior knowledge.
His fund performance over the last 5 years suggests his own knowledge is below average.
Well, I did buy a few on the same day, but I was unaware of the concurrent CRY purchase. Given that Mr. Bernstein probably has superior knowledge, I'm content with my decision.
I would have posted a comment along similar lines, but I suppose I didn't want to tempt fate or be accused of ramping.
I do recall commenting, 'Am I the only one who has the feeling that the share price has bottomed out?' shortly after it bounced off about 24p, just over two years ago, and someone replying, 'No, you're not'!
i think we all know it is at the bottom....will bounce around 29/30p until it is ready to be moved back up in the new year.
it currently has a p/e ratio of less than 3. oil companies on average are 25p. we will have produced about 3.5m barrels by the end of the year.
How long do you think it is going to stay down here?
Apoligies if this is already mentioned somewhere below and had slipped under my radar.
On 11th Dec., CRY increased their holding from 4.81% to 5.03% Looks like Mr. Bernstein paid about 30p. Presumably he reckons that is near the bottom and that the stock is oversold.
